I’ve had the pleasure of testing Regal Coins this week which is a new US sweepstakes casino. The massive slot game library immediately stood out to me, as did the above-average welcome bonus for new customers.
These are two of the things I discuss in the below Regal Coins review, but I’ll also check the legitimacy of the brand, look at how the desktop and mobile versions of the website work, and the security features it offers. At the end, I’ll give my recommendations and explain if I think it’s a top pick or not.
The first thing I did for this Regal Coins review was to make sure the brand is legit, just like I did in my Spinly review. This included looking for things like regulatory compliance and the virtual currency setup.
Regal Coins is the real deal. I’m 100% confident it’s a legit sweepstakes casino that follows US regulations. It doesn’t allow real money gameplay, you can’t make real money deposits, and it complies with the no purchase necessary requirement. For transparency, the brand is owned and operated by Regal Entertainment Ventures LLC. which is a company based and registered in Delaware, with Regal Coins being a trademark of that company.
For help, I checked out the support center - this was really useful and had a range of help topics relating to different features of the site. There’s also a live chat option - you have to enter your name and email first, but I tested it several times, and I was always able to speak to a human rep eventually within 6-7 minutes. The reps I spoke to were kind, friendly, and able to sort my queries effectively. Email support is an option too, but you can expect to wait a few hours for a reply.

Security is fantastic for the website, and I noticed that they have a geoblocking feature to prevent customers outside the US accessing the site. The signup process also includes email verification, and you have to do an ID check before you can make redemptions or unlock all of the site’s features.
There’s pretty good transparency too, and I found an extensive sweepstakes rules page that explains how virtual currencies work, plus other important features like an AML policy, privacy policy, and responsible social gameplay help.
Regal Coins uses two virtual currencies - Gold Coins (GC) and Sweeps Coins (SC), and they have the following function:
There’s also optional Gold Coin package purchases, and from my testing, I was able to use Visa, MasterCard, and Online Banking to complete the transactions.

Like how I did in my Betr review, I spent a hell of a long time playing the games at Regal Coins, and overall, I had A LOT of fun. I think there’s room for improvement though - especially in terms of the overall game genre variety.
Firstly, I looked at WHO Regal Coins works with to create its game library, and I saw the following developers:
Hacksaw Gaming, Jili, 3 Oaks Gaming, Playson, Betsoft, M2Play, KA Gaming, Turbo Games, Evoplay, Ready Play, Netgame, Golden Gopher, Boldplay, Apparat, Rogue Games, Atomic Slot Lab, ICONIC21, Just Slots, Game Tech, OneTouch, ELA Games, Half Square, Edge Labs, BGaming, Popiplay, Swintt.
This is a pretty good list, and I was impressed to see some of my favorite slot developers like Hacksaw and Playson. There are some more modern developers absent though, like Relax Gaming and NoLimit City.
At the time I wrote my Regal Coins review, the game library was limited to slots and fishing arcade shooter games. I didn’t find any table games, live dealer games, or arcade games which is definitely something that needs changing if it wants to compete with the top sweepstakes casinos.
The fishing arcade game collection is really diverse though, and KA Gaming provides 50+ titles, with some of their all-time greats like Golden Dragon. When I wanted a break from the slots, I jumped on these games instead and really enjoyed blasting away at the targets.
There’s also 400+ titles from Hacksaw Gaming - they are one of my top 3 slot developers of all time, so I spent ages playing some of my favorite games like Le Cowboy, Chaos Crew, Ze Zeus, and Wanted Dead or a Wild.
For every review I create, I try to play games from different developers, and at Regal Coins, I checked out M2Play which is actually Microgaming. There’s loads of their retro games from decades past, and the following were my top picks:
| Game | RTP | Volatility | Theme |
|---|---|---|---|
| Thunderstruck II | 96.65% | Medium | Norse Mythology |
| Gold Blitz | 96.40% | Medium-High | Money, Gold Blitz series |
| Lucky Rainbow Rush | 94.25% | Medium | Luck, Ireland, Leprechauns |
| Queen of the Sphinx | 96.00% | Medium-High | Ancient Egypt |
| Gold Blitz Ultimate | 96.50% | High | Gold Blitz series, Money |
I HAVE made an alternative Regal Coins bonus review which explains all the promotions in full detail, but you can see a basic summary of the main promos and bonus features below.
When I completed the registration process and got signed up to Regal Coins, after I’d verified my email and logged in for the first time, I got 100,000 Gold Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin. This is a pretty good welcome bonus - the minimum I expect is usually 7,500 GC and 2 SC, so the SC is slightly lower, but you get way more GC to play with than expected.
There’s also 5x discounted Gold Coin packages that you can purchase, and from my testing, each one gives the equivalent of a 100% bonus. I actually went for the $14.99 GC package which gave me 500 million GC and after the GC purchase was complete, I also got 30 bonus SC. The amount of GC you get in these optional packages is insane, and they are easily some of the best value bundles I’ve seen.
Unlike what I found in my Mojogo review, I think the existing player bonuses need improving for Regal Coins, and I found the following:
The refer-a-friend scheme is fantastic, as is the 3 SC mail-in bonus, however, there isn’t really any details on what the VIP program actually entails such as level progression or perks. Additionally, I spent ages checking out the features and I couldn’t find a daily login bonus which is something I expect all social casinos to provide.
When I made my Jackpot Daily review, I was impressed with the usability of the site, and I had a similar reaction with Regal Coins. Although I didn’t see any downloadable mobile app, there was a mobile-responsive browser version of the site which I tested using Chrome on an Android mobile.
It worked great! The responsive design will modify the layout so everything fits nicely on your smartphone screen, and the games I played were all optimized for mobile screens. The desktop website is pretty good too though, and I like the color scheme, brand logo, and lion character that they use throughout the site. It just looks professional but fun at the same time.
Regal Coins is a SOLID new entry into the world of US sweepstakes casinos, and my Regal Coins review uncovered a heap of positive features such as the massive slot library, the hearty welcome bundle, and the simple, secure design of the website and mobile version. It’s not without its flaws though, and it can improve further.
For example, they need to add more game genre variety, and a daily login bonus. Right now though, it’s already a pretty good social casino, and I had A LOT of fun while playing here. If any of you want to try it out for yourself and start gaming, just click the banners I’ve put on this page to get signed up.
Yup! My testing showed that this sweepstakes casino is the real deal. It does everything I expect from a regulatory compliance standpoint, and I was happy with features like its security and virtual currency system.
Anywhere in the US to customers over 21, EXCEPT California, Connecticut, Delaware, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Washington, Hawaii, and Tennessee.
Nope. You only ever have the chance of getting GC or SC prizes back from your gameplay at Regal Coins. You might be able to redeem your SC for cash prizes though, provided you meet the conditions I outlined earlier.
I got 100,000 Gold Coins and 1 Sweeps Coin when I signed up. There’s also 5x optional GC packages that you can purchase - each GC package gives at least a 100% bonus, plus a crazy amount of Gold Coins.
