I’m big on social sports sites recently and as the NBA Playoffs and MLB regular season are in full swing, I’ve been exploring new options. One such exciting new prospect I’ve come across is Wanna Parlay.
In this Wanna Parlay review, I tell you everything there is to know about how this operator works, what you can do here, and how you can enter the awesome sports picks contests that it has. I’ll also share my thoughts on key features like usability, mobile accessibility, and security.
When using any social sportsbook, usability is one of my core priorities so this is the thing I first reviewed for this Wanna Parlay review. I checked out the desktop website first, and then moved onto the mobile app.
A major thing to note is that Wanna Parlay is APP-ONLY. There is a desktop website, but this is essentially just a landing page that promotes the social sports betting and gives you a link to download the app.
I think the landing page is at least useful for giving you an introduction to how everything works, and it is vital as it provides a link to download the Android APK as the app isn’t available on the Google Play Store. You can also see which states the social sportsbook is available in and it does have a contact form but this is for marketing only - not support.
In terms of the style and design, I actually like the theme and colors Wanna Parlay uses and I think it’s one of the better-looking social sportsbooks that I’ve tried. It looks incredibly modern and it’s clear a lot of effort was put into the usability and branding.
It doesn’t matter that there isn’t a desktop lobby as there is both an Android and iOS app and I think these give a far superior social sportsbook experience anyway.
The iOS app can be downloaded directly from the App Store, but you have to download an Android APK from the Wanna Parlay website as there isn’t a Play Store version. I know some people have reservations about APK’s, but I’ve downloaded and installed it and it works fine and looks incredibly official. Just remember that if you want to install an APK, you’ll have to go into your app settings and enable the “install unknown app” feature which is usually found in the “special access” section of Android phones - just remember to turn it off when you’ve installed Wanna Parlay.
In terms of quality, the app rocks! I rate it as one of the best social sportsbook apps that I’ve tested. It’s smooth, the white and purple color scheme looks awesome, and the navigation to find the different contests and manage your account is simple too.
I believe that the best social sportsbooks have a set of core features that allow you a safe, secure, and enjoyable social betting experience and I’ve analysed those features for this Wanna Parlay review including licensing, security, and support.
Wanna Parlay does not need a gambling license for the 28 US states it’s social sportsbook is available in. This is because it doesn’t allow real money deposits or gameplay. The social sportsbook version is available in the following states:
Washington, Montana, Idaho, Nevada, Arizona, Colorado, Iowa, Montana, Louisiana, Massachusetts, Alabama, Tennessee, Michigan, Indiana, Ohio, North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, New York, Vermont, New Hampshire, Maine, Maryland, Connecticut, New Jersey, Delaware, Mississippi, DC.
The security of the landing page is spot on and I found evidence of a HTTPS connection and a valid SSL certificate which means that SSL encryption is used. The mobile app also uses the same security measures and I have no concerns about safety when using either version. You’ve got standard documentation too, such as terms and conditions, privacy policy and a responsible social gaming guide.
Support options currently seem limited at Wanna Parlay. On the desktop site, there is a contact page where you can send a contact email, and they give a generic contact email of contact@wanna.com. The mobile app has a help center and email support but I couldn’t see any live chat which was disappointing.
This operator also has active Instagram and Tik Tok accounts although these appear to be for marketing purposes only and are not used for support. Possibly the most useful support I found was the range of tutorial videos they have on the app which walk you through core processes like entering the contests, updating your account information, and basic gameplay mechanics.

For the social betting version of Wanna Parlay, purchases or payments are not available. If you want to redeem your cash prizes from the no-cost contests, you can do so via several methods including Venmo, Bank Transfer, PayPal, and Debit Card. From my experiences, I’ve found the redemption process to be incredibly easy and the processing times are generally between 1-5 business days which is slightly better than the average for social sportsbooks.

I scoured the Wanna Parlay app for promotions and bonuses for the social sportsbook but unfortunately I couldn’t find anything. There isn’t any type of Wanna Parlay promo code, nor is there a welcome bonus for new customers. This is generally because as far as I can see, virtual currencies are not used at this social sportsbook, and you can simply enter the social contest with no costs. There is a referral scheme that appears to have great value, but I think this is only available for the paid DFS version of the app.
If you fancy giving this app a try then you have to create an account and you can do that by the following steps:
Once you’ve done the verification and logged into your account for the first, you should have full access to the social sportsbook! You can now edit your profile and check out the contests and make your first social picks.
The contests are located at the bottom of the app and on the app homepage you should be able to see how many people are currently entered into the contests, when it ends, and the minimum amount of social picks you need to include for your entry.
For these contests, you have a set points allocation, and a minimum social pick number. For example, at the time of writing this Wanna Parlay review, there was a contest with a minimum point limit of 5, and a minimum social pick limit of 2.
I love that you can make your social picks for any of the sports they support, for example, while someone else might be making social MLB picks, I can be making NBA social picks. To enter, you then simply have to browse the available categories and make your social picks! To give you an example, I entered a contest and made social picks on the Bulls to beat the Heat, Dallas to beat the Kings, and Coby White to get over 23.5 points which equaled 9.20 points and meant my social picks were eligible.
It’s incredibly simple to pick up and I love the social pick variety you have for the over/unders.
I hope you’ve found my Wanna Parlay review useful and you have a clear idea of what this social sports betting site offers. I’m incredibly positive about this operator already and I think it’s one of the more exciting sports apps that I’ve tried in recent times. I love the concept of the contests they have with the social over/under selections, and the fact that they are easy to enter while still giving you the chance to get cash prizes is superb.
Hopefully in time they expand to add more sports, but for me, as an NBA fan, I’m set already! If you fancy giving Wanna Parlay a try, make sure you click one of the links of this page so that you can download either the iOS or Android mobile app, create an account, and enter your first contest - good luck!
