LuckyOne is one of the latest US sweepstakes casinos to launch, and I’ve been flat out testing this site since it was released to the public to see what it offers in terms of entertainment and virtual currencies.
Based on this, I’ve produced an initial LuckyOne review that gives you a complete breakdown of what you can expect when signing up. If you read on, I’ll look at the legitimacy of this site, important features like security and customer support, and also give you an idea of the games you can play.
Before we discuss the games and promos, it’s important to establish the legitimacy of this site. To do that, I look at what I call the “core features” which include regulatory compliance, security, support, and the virtual currency setup.
LuckyOne is legit. How do I know this? You can’t make real money deposits here, and you can only ever play games using Gold Coins (GC) or Sweeps Coins (SC). This is a must for sweepstakes casinos. On top of that, it follows the no purchase necessary caveat and gives you the chance to get GC and SC via different promos and features. It also has a range of verification features to ensure that only legal people can sign up at the site.
Next, I scanned for security features and found SSL encryption which is the minimum I expect. The encryption is backed by an SSL certificate from Google Trust Services which was active at the time of writing this LuckyOne review. There’s also geoblocking tools that prevent people from outside the US accessing the site or signing up, and there is a full KYC check required if you want to try and make prize redemptions. Lastly, the site has excellent transparency and it features documents/pages for privacy, terms and conditions, responsible social gameplay, and general sweepstakes rules.
The support option is a little hidden, but if you scroll to the bottom of the left-hand menu, you should see the link to the live chat. This is actually a dual-purpose support feature where you can either submit support tickets or use the live chat. I tested both features and was satisfied with the response times. For the live chat, I got through to someone within 5 minutes on the 4 different times I used it, and email response times were within 2 hours.

Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins are the two virtual currencies used here. Gold Coins are for fun only and cannot be redeemed, but you can make optional GC purchases. I was able to use Visa or MasterCard for these purchases, but you might have alternative methods depending on your state and setup.
Sweeps Coins have the potential to be redeemed for cash prizes. You’ll need 100 SC to make a redemption request, and any bonus SC will have to be played with 1x. As I mentioned, a full KYC check is also needed before you can make a redemption request. From the redemption requests I did, I was only able to use Bank Transfer, and the processing time was between 3-8 business days which is on par with industry averages.

I’ve made an alternative LuckyOne promo code review that goes into more detail about the promotions, but I’ll show you the welcome bonus I got in this guide, and quickly go through the other bonuses I saw.
I went through the signup process at LuckyOne and the first time I logged in to my account, I got the following:
20k GC and 2 SC is an excellent welcome bonus, considering that I expect the minimum a social casino will give to be 7,500 GC and 2 SC. I was able to have a lot of fun because of this bonus, and really dive into the games library. I also snapped up the optional GC first purchase bonus which gives you the following:
This is exactly what I expect from a GC first purchase bonus - at least a 100% discount, and a nice low starting price which can appeal to multiple types of players.
This new US sweepstakes casino has loads of other bonuses and cool features, and I think it’s one of the most well-rounded sites I’ve seen for a long time on launch. Examples of promos and gamification things I saw include:
Simply put, I was never short of virtual currencies while playing here and I think they do a great job of keeping customers engaged and entertained.
For the next part of this LuckyOne review I concentrated on usability. I’m generally a fan of the desktop website - the color scheme is simple and modern, and they don’t use flashy graphics or gimmicks. Instead, the emphasis is on usability and overall, the site works well. My only small issue is that I think the homepage could be segmented better - I think some of the elements need to have borders around them to add separation.
This is me being picky though, and the main point is that the site has excellent navigation for account management, its games, and promotions. Page speeds are also fast, and I checked the site thoroughly and found no errors or incomplete data.
For mobile gaming, there isn’t currently a mobile app and this is something they could perhaps look into. You can use the mobile browser version of the site though and I was happy with the functionality of it. It has the same style as the desktop site, but the elements will fit neatly on your smaller smartphone screen. From my testing, most of the games are mobile responsive too, which means that you can play them either in portrait or landscape mode to get the best resolution on your phone.
Let’s finish this LuckyOne review with the best bit - the gaming! This site features 1,200+ titles and I was impressed with how well-rounded the game library was on launch. I think no matter what types of games you enjoy, you’ll find something that you want to play here.
When browsing the game library, I first checked out who provides the titles, and I saw a range of familiar faces, including:
I’m 100% confident in the legitimacy of these publishers, and I was happy to see they feature games from my favorite slot developer - Hacksaw Gaming.
They cover pretty much all of the main game genres I expect to see at sweepstakes casinos, including:
Slots make up most of the library, but they do have a fantastic collection of live dealer games and arcade games too.
If, like me, you enjoy live dealer action, I recommend checking out the live dealer section from ICONIC21 at LuckyOne. They have 20+ titles which cover both table games and game shows, such as:
I spent a LONG time playing live blackjack here, but the new live game shows that ICONIC21 are adding like Knock Knock, Gravity Plinko, and Lightspeed are also heaps of fun.
I had so much fun making this LuckyOne review and you should be able to see how highly I rate this sweepstakes casino already. From my experience, it’s very rare that you will get a site that has 99.99% of the expected social casino features, but LuckyOne achieves this. I think all it needs to do is add a few more table games and maybe some fishing arcade games, and it will be one of the top contenders.
It has loads of promos, a fantastic game collection, and an easy-to-use website with great support and security - what more could you want? Don’t just take my word for it though - why not click the banners we’ve got on this page and sign up now to LuckyOne sweepstakes casino for yourself?
For sure. It does everything I expect a social casino to do, including providing virtual currencies, making no purchase necessary to play at it, and not allowing real money gameplay or deposits.
This sweepstakes casino gives you Gold Coin and Sweeps Coin virtual currencies to play casino-style games with, including video slots, live dealer games, and arcade games. You then have the chance of getting GC or SC prizes back from your gaming.
It’s a US-only site, available to customers over 18. It’s also prohibited in these states - California, Connecticut, Idaho, Louisiana, Michigan, Montana, New York, New Jersey, Nevada, Washington State, and West Virginia.
You cannot. The games are played using your GC or SC virtual currencies. You then have the potential to get GC or SC prizes in return, with SC being redeemable for cash prizes provided you meet the eligibility requirements.
