I signed up at BucksJet expecting a decent sweepstakes experience; after all, the sweepstakes casino is shown to offer 8,000 Gold Coins (GC) and 3 Sweep Coins (SC) in welcome bonuses without needing a BucksJet no-deposit bonus code.
It should also be noted that BucksJet doesn't allow deposits. Like other sweepstakes casinos, BucksJet allows players to use two virtual currencies to enjoy their games: Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins. Oddly enough, the brand still calls their first GC purchase bonus a "first deposit" bonus. And this isn’t the only red flag I found on the site.
To begin with, while the welcome bonus at BucksJet may appear substantial, it won’t last long. Some slot games have a minimum play requirement of 1,000 Gold Coins per spin, which means that the site’s 8,000 GC will only allow for a few spins, typically just three or four, before you run out of Gold Coins and need additional Gold Coins to continue playing.
On the other hand, the sweepstakes coin (SC) bonus can be redeemed for real prizes. However, with only 3 SC, you’re still far from reaching the minimum redemption threshold of 50 SC for the sweepstakes casino, not to mention that you must also meet the site’s SC playthrough requirements. These limitations are part of the reason why I scored this brand so low during my BucksJet review.
The game library at BucksJet includes over 1,000 game titles; slots, table games and social live casinos from major providers like Booming Games, Fachai, Mascot Gaming, and others.
While I was initially excited about the game variety at BucksJet, the games soon began to feel generic. I cycled through the same handful of titles used by plenty of sweepstakes sites, as the site doesn’t feature exclusive games or any unique game features.
The only good news is that you won’t need a BucksJet promo code to claim any of the promotions here. But I don’t think that helps when the site doesn’t have an interesting game library.
BucksJet offers a minimum redemption threshold of 50 SC and a 3% redemption fee, which I found outrageous, considering that I’ve tried other sweepstakes casinos without SC redemption fees.
The surprising part is that I found a discussion where someone mentioned they were awarded some SC bonuses. However, they had to wait until they made an actual GC package purchase before their SC redemptions could be processed. Additionally, their SC redemption was significantly reduced.
Here’s a breakdown of how optional GC package purchases and SC redemptions work on BucksJet:
| GC package purchase | SC redemption | |
|---|---|---|
| Supported methods | Visa, Mastercard, PayPal, and Cash APP | PayPal |
| Min and max GC purchase | Min - $4.99 for 50,000 GC | — |
| Min and max SC redemption | Max - $299.99 for 3,000,000 | Min - 50 SC |
| Fees | — | 3% processing fee on all SC redemptions |
While playing at BucksJet, I used most of the site offerings and took notes of what I liked about the sweepstakes casino’s bonuses and what I sure didn’t. These are some of the pros and cons of playing at BucksJet:
BucksJet operates following US sweepstakes laws, meaning the site is legally allowed to operate in most US states.
However, due to stricter gaming regulations in certain US states, including Washington, Idaho, Nevada, Connecticut, Montana, Delaware, Kentucky, and Michigan, BucksJet isn’t available in these states. Also, in states where BucksJet is available, players must be at least 18 years old to access the sweepstakes casino.
As a site for casual spins or trying sweepstakes play, BucksJet is far from being a high-quality sweepstakes casino. If you're someone who values ease in your games and seamless SC bonus redemptions, BucksJet isn't a great option, as there's too much complexity except you opt for GC package purchases.
If you're considering sweepstakes casinos, I can’t recommend BucksJet unless you're fully aware of the 3% SC redemption fee and the limitations of the site’s no-purchase bonus, which is quite basic. Also, keep in mind that the games offered are similar to those available at most other sweepstakes casinos. You can click the banners on the page to explore alternative sites to BucksJet with better offerings.
Upon registering an account on BucksJet, players get a welcome bonus of 8,000 GC and 3 SC.
When it comes to bonuses, BucksJet falls behind with its only no-purchase bonus being the welcome bonus.
Yes. BucksJet charges a 3% SC redemption processing fee.
