If you are looking for a new prediction exchange to try that also offers other investment areas, Webull could be an excellent choice with its new P2P setup, and its existing investment opportunities.
In this Webull review though, I am specifically diving into its P2P prediction market exchange to see how it compares to other top competitors. I will first establish the legitimacy of the brand and how its trading setup works, then move on to review other features like its prediction markets and promotions.
First up for this Webull review I had to make sure that this site was the real deal, and I did that by assessing what I call the core features - regulatory compliance, support, security, and banking:
I had no concerns about the legitimacy of Webull or its regulatory compliance. The Webull company already has a solid reputation, and it’s registered and regulated by various bodies including the SEC (Securities and Exchange Commission), FINRA (Financial Industry Regulatory Authority), but most importantly for its prediction exchange, the CFTC (Commodity Futures Trading Commission). Additionally, Kalshi (who is another CFTC-regulated operator) is the operator who actually provides the predictions for Webull.
Unlike what I found in my Coinbase review, Webull doesn’t appear to have a live chat for support that we could find. Instead, I was reliant on email, a US phone number, and the extensive FAQs and help center. To test the email setup, I sent a few test queries, and the average response time was 3-4 hours which is OK, but not exactly fast either.
The phone line was much better, and this appeared to be open during normal US business hours. I found the FAQs and help center to be the most useful though - there’s loads of info explaining trading fees, how trade contracts work, and guides on how to sign up and make payments.
When I got started with Webull, I was immediately impressed with the professionalism of the site, and the quality of their security features. SSL is used as standard as is expected, but there is also a thorough verification process before you can even get started. For instance, you have to enter your phone number and verify it by entering an SMS code before you can even progress to the second stage of the account registration.
Their transparency is also spot on - they have a thorough explanation of how the prediction exchange works, plus plenty of supporting documentation and guides.
I found a range of payment methods when creating my Moomoo review, and Webull has a similar offering. At the time of writing this Webull review, I was able to utilize debit cards, ACH deposits, and Wire transfers. This is not the most extensive list by any means, but most people should have at least one of these methods.
Deposits and withdrawals are smooth, they look to have a secure payment getaway, and I was never charged any payment fees. The only thing to be aware of is that there might be a holding period for your funds based on the deposit method you used, before they can be withdrawn. For example, debit card deposits have a minimum holding period of 2 days, so if you made a $50 deposit using VISA, you would not be able to withdraw that until the third day after you made the deposit.
Like how I did with my DraftKings Predict review, I wanted to spend a good chunk of time assessing the quality and variety of the Webull prediction markets. The first thing to note is that instead of creating their own markets, Webull has a partnership with Kalshi. Kalshi is a market leader in terms of trading volume and variety, so I see this as a massive win for Webull. Because of this partnership, I found a heap of different prediction categories, including:
✅ Sports.
✅ Crypto.
✅ Politics.
✅ Elections.
✅ Technology.
✅ Financials.
✅ Economy.
✅ Culture.
Webull has separated the sports and event predictions and I think this is a solid move, as it makes a distinction between the two and chops up the prediction markets into more digestible sections. Within the sports category, I found predictions for the following events/competitions:
✅ Basketball.
✅ Soccer.
✅ Football.
✅ Baseball.
✅ Tennis.
They really do have a solid sports coverage, and while most of the predictions were for outright match winners, they did have some markets for things like awards and even tournament winners.
I think the event prediction section is just as detailed as the sports predictions, and I was especially impressed with the crypto and market predictions. For instance, I found hourly UP/DOWN crypto predictions for a range of different tokens such as Ethereum, Bitcoin, and Dogecoin. Alternatively, I like how they have hourly and daily stock exchange markets too for both the S&P 500 and NASDAQ as these tie in nicely to their other investment and trading features.
With my Sleeper Markets review, I thought the usability was OK, but I was more impressed with the setup at Webull. They have a few different platforms which includes a downloadable trading program for Mac/Windows devices, plus downloadable mobile apps for the App Store and Play Store.
I started by checking out the desktop website and the downloadable trading platforms and both worked great. This is one of the more professional prediction exchanges that I’ve used, and I could immediately tell that they are aiming this side of their business at a more trader-oriented clientele. Everything works seamlessly, and they have done a great job of integrating the P2P prediction trading setup with the rest of the site.
For mobile trading, both the iOS and Android apps have excellent ratings at their relevant stores:
| App Version | Rating | Number of Reviews |
|---|---|---|
| App Store (iOS) | 4.7 | 335,000+ |
| Play Store (Android) | 4.6 | 212,000+ |
It’s worth noting though, that most of these reviews and ratings will be related to the other more established trading and investment features this site offers. Still, from my own experiences with the Android app, I found it to offer a smooth, simple, and stress-free trading setup.
I’ve spent time creating a separate Webull bonus code review where I go into its promotional features in more detail, but I’ll at least go over the basics here. Unfortunately, at this point in time, the promotions and features I found were generally geared towards the other investment and trading sections of the business, NOT the P2P prediction exchange, and these include:
So, unlike what I found in my Sleeper Markets review, there isn’t a specific prediction exchange welcome bonus, but a trading bonus and one month of Webull Premium which still could be incredibly useful. After that, they have a range of different features and bonuses relating to their IRA services, futures trading, and stocks and shares trading.
This is definitely an area for improvement, as right now I didn’t really see any dedicated prediction exchange promotions - perhaps this is something that will change as this side of their business grows and gets more traction.
That’s it from our Webull review, and overall I was impressed with its setup and what they have created. It feels like an incredibly robust and well-built P2P prediction trading solution, and the fact that the predictions are provided by Kalshi means that Webull can offer a vast range of markets, and compete in terms of trade volume and liquidity.
This is complemented by the professional setup of the site and mobile apps, the fair trading fees, and the supporting infrastructure. I would like to see some type of a signup bonus for the prediction side of their business though, and their sports section could be expanded. Other than that though, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the brand, and if you want to get started here yourself, just click any of the banners I’ve put on this page.
Webull offers peer-2-peer prediction trading. From my experience with the site, you can buy and sell trade contracts for a range of different predictions with your USD account balance. You then have the option of holding your trade contracts to try and settle them in-the-money, in which instance you get a $1 payout minus fees for each trade contract.
Customers over 18 from the US should be able to legally sign up using the banners we have on this page - when you sign up, you should get a notification stating if prediction trading is available in your state or not.
Yes. Webull as an overall investment and trading company has a solid reputation, and is registered/affiliated with numerous regulatory bodies, including the CFTC for its prediction trading exchange.
