The Meta Arena app is a prediction markets app with a difference. Instead of buying and selling event contracts with real money, you can win virtual points by making correct forecasts on the outcomes of sports games and other events.
When you win points, you’ll climb the leaderboard with the objective of beating other players in the rankings. In contrast to other prediction market apps, the main purpose of this one is to drive user engagement and social interaction. While the app is still under development, I’ll give you the lowdown on everything we know so far.
I should start my review with the caveat that this app is still under construction. However, you can check out my colleague’s Rolr review if you're looking for a trading app that’s up and running.
What I can tell you is that this app will offer a different approach to prediction markets. Rather than allow you to trade event contracts for future outcomes using real money, your predictions will win you points.
In a video game-style system, you can climb the rankings as you win more points to compete against other players. Basically, it will turn predictions into a game, rather than the high-risk trading model discussed in my Gemini Predictions review.
Here’s a rundown of how the process will work:
The Meta Arena app is a project of Mark Zuckerberg's Meta company, which explains the focus on social and engagement-driven predictions over real-money trading. It’s actually the company’s second attempt at a points-based prediction markets app, as they launched and quickly closed a failed app called Forecast a few years back.
However, the second attempt has a higher chance of success given the current popularity of prediction market platforms like Polymarket and Kalshi. While I cannot give you concrete information as I provided in my Interactive Brokers review, what I can tell you is that Arena will be a standalone app. In other words, it will be separate from Facebook, Instagram, and Meta’s social media apps.

In summary, Meta Arena is a soon-to-be-released app that will allow you to predict the outcomes of future events. Instead of risking real money, you can climb the rankings with correct predictions via the points-based system. In keeping with Meta’s brand, it will be a social prediction markets app that should drive engagement via user competition.
Arena is an app-only social prediction market platform that’s currently being developed by Meta. It will offer virtual points as rewards for correct forecasts, with no real money trading. If you’re looking for traditional investments, my Webull review might have the answer.
Meta Arena hasn’t been released yet, so I cannot definitively tell you if it’s legit or not. It’s being developed by Zuckerberg's Meta company, which has caused controversy but is at least one of the best-known companies in the world.
At the moment, I don’t have a Meta Arena promo code to give you. However, you can watch this space and check back in with me once the app goes live.
