NFL Week 18 is packed with player milestone chases that impact NFL predictions and prop betting markets. Dimers projections help identify which records and achievements are realistically in play this weekend.

Caleb Williams is on the verge of making Chicago Bears franchise history in Week 18.

The NFL’s 18-week regular season concludes this weekend, with NFL Week 18 kicking off Saturday, January 3 and wrapping up Sunday, January 4, 2026. The final slate will lock in playoff seeding, settle division races, and determine which teams carry momentum into the postseason, and which are already looking ahead to the offseason.

While some teams have little to gain in the standings, Week 18 still carries major significance from a player prop betting perspective. Beyond NFL player contract incentives on the line in Week 18, across the league, quarterbacks, running backs, and receivers are closing in on franchise records, historic benchmarks, and personal milestones that could reshape the record books.

These achievements matter not only from a legacy standpoint, but also from an NFL predictions and NFL prop betting angle. Coaches chasing wins, playoff positioning, or rhythm often lean into their stars, and milestone chases can subtly influence play-calling and usage (remember Mike Evans hitting 1,000 yards in Week 18 last year?)

By comparing these statistical targets against the Dimers Pro NFL player projections, we can better evaluate which milestones are realistically in play during the final week of the season — and where value may exist in the NFL Week 18 prop market.

Below is a breakdown of the most notable Week 18 milestones, paired with how each stacks up against Dimers’ projections.

Caleb Williams — Chicago Bears

Milestones: 4,000 passing yards, 29 passing touchdowns

Caleb Williams enters Week 18 on the brink of rewriting Bears history. Sitting at 3,730 passing yards and 25 touchdown passes, Williams needs just 108 yards to surpass Erik Kramer’s long-standing franchise record for passing yards, and four touchdowns to match Kramer’s team record of 29 passing scores. But a 270-yard performance would push him to 4,000 yards, a mark no Bears quarterback has ever reached.

Unlike many teams in Week 18, Chicago is expected to play its starters aggressively as it battles Detroit while competing with Philadelphia for the NFC’s No. 2 seed. With the Eagles already announcing plans to rest key starters, the Bears have every incentive to keep their foot on the gas.

Dimers projects Caleb Williams for 235.4 passing yards, while he sits at +135 to record 270+.

Trevor Lawrence — Jacksonville Jaguars

Milestones: 4,00 passing yards, 10 rushing touchdowns

Trevor Lawrence is closing in on another landmark season for the Jaguars. With 3,752 passing yards, he needs 248 yards to record his third career 4,000-yard season — something no other Jacksonville quarterback has ever accomplished more than once.

Lawrence also sits one rushing touchdown shy of double digits on the season. If he reaches both 4,000 passing yards and 10 rushing touchdowns, Lawrence would join Josh Allen and Cam Newton as the only players in NFL history to hit that combination in a single season.

Dimers projects Trevor Lawrence for 256.8 passing yards and a 30.5% anytime TD probability.

Dak Prescott — Dallas Cowboys

Milestones: 4,904 passing yards, 248 career passing touchdowns

Dak Prescott faces long odds, but Week 18 still offers a path to major franchise history. Prescott needs five touchdown passes to tie Tony Romo as the Cowboys’ all-time leader, and 422 passing yards to overtake Romo’s single-season yardage record of 4,903. Prescott came within one yard of Romo’s mark in 2019.

Prescott is also part of a tight race for the NFL passing yardage crown, narrowly leading Matthew Stafford, Jared Goff, and Drake Maye.

Dimers projects Prescott for 271.6 passing yards on Sunday vs. the Giants.

C.J. Stroud — Houston Texans

Milestones: 3,000 passing yards, 20 passing touchdowns

C.J. Stroud is quietly on the verge of joining elite company. With 2,872 passing yards and 18 touchdown passes, Stroud needs just 128 yards and two scores to reach 3,000 yards and 20 touchdowns for the third straight season. Only nine quarterbacks have hit those marks in each of their first three seasons, and the list shrinks rapidly beyond that.

Dimers' projections place Stroud comfortably above his yardage threshold at 224.4 passing yards, making the 3,000-yard milestone a strong possibility as the Texans cling to their hopes of winning the AFC South.

Josh Allen — Buffalo Bills

Milestones: 40 passing + rushing touchdowns

Josh Allen continues to build one of the most unique statistical resumes in NFL history. One more touchdown, either passing or rushing, would give him 40-plus total touchdowns for a sixth consecutive season, extending an NFL record. Aaron Rodgers holds the all-time record with six such seasons (not consecutive), a mark Allen could tie

The Bills aren't expected to play their key starters very long as Josh Allen draws just a 6.4% rushing TD probability, with no receiver higher than 23%.

Drake Maye — New England Patriots

Milestone: 5 rushing touchdowns

Drake Maye has already etched his name into the NFL record book, becoming just the third player to post 4,000 passing yards, 30 passing touchdowns, 400 rushing yards and four rushing touchdowns in a season alongside Josh Allen and Jeff Garcia.

One more rushing score would land Maye in the exclusive 4,000-30 / 400-5 club with only Josh Allen.

Maye gets a 25.6% anytime TD probability from the Dimers model vs. the Dolphins.

Aaron Rodgers — Pittsburgh Steelers

Milestone: 25 passing touchdowns

Aaron Rodgers enters Week 18 tied with Drew Brees for the third-most 25-touchdown seasons in NFL history, with 14. Two more touchdown passes would move him ahead of Brees, leaving only Tom Brady and Peyton Manning ahead of him.

The Dimers model gives Rodgers a 42.6% probability of throwing over 1.5 passing touchdowns.

Bijan Robinson - Atlanta Falcons

Milestone: 2,510 scrimmage yards

On the heels of one of the most dominant performances we've seen all season, Falcons RB Bijan Robinson needs 255 scrimmage yards to break Chris Johnson’s single-season scrimmage yardage record of 2,509.

Dimers projects Robinson for 86.8 rushing yards and 39.6 receiving yards for a total of 126.4 scrimmage yards.

Christian McCaffrey - San Francisco 49ers

Milestone: 1,000 receiving yards

Christian McCaffrey needs 110 receiving yards to become the first player in NFL history with multiple 1,000 rushing / 1,000 receiving seasons, and 159 to surpass Marshall Faulk’s running back receiving record. San Francisco’s must-win game heavily favors McCaffrey’s usage.

After a couple of quiet weeks in the receiving game, it will be an uphill battle for McCaffrey who projects for 45.3 receiving yards by the Dimers model.

Tetairoa McMillan - Carolina Panthers

Milestone: 1,009 receiving yards

Tetairoa McMillan needs 80 receiving yards to set the Panthers’ rookie receiving record, eclipsing Kelvin Benjamin’s 1,008-yard mark in a high-stakes matchup against Tampa Bay.

Entering as the Offensive Rookie of the Year favorite, the Dimers model projects him a little shy at 64.3 receiving yards, while he is +180 to record 80+.

Justin Jefferson - Minnesota Vikings

Milestone: 1,000 receiving yards

In the midst of his most frustrating season, Justin Jefferson is 53 receiving yards away from recording 1,000+ in his first six seasons, giving him a chance to catch up to Mike Evans' record in a few seasons' time.

The Dimers model projects him to hit this once again with 67.4 receiving yards on Sunday vs. the Packers.

CeeDee Lamb - Dallas Cowboys

Milestone: 7,460 career receiving yards

CeeDee Lamb needs 48 receiving yards to pass Dez Bryant for fifth all-time in Cowboys history, a mark he's surely going to pass before his time in Dallas is over, but has a chance to solidify a Top 5 all-time ranking before the end of his sixth season.

Dimers projects Lamb for 69.2 receiving yards vs. the Giants in the Cowboys' regular season finale.
