Our expansive projections hub is a go-to resource during March Madness, spotlighting players on the verge of major statistical outbursts, projected to clear their prop lines or those who might even be expected to underperform.
Sixteen games are on tap today, but we're narrowing our focus to the nighttime games with three players who should be on your radar, specifically for their three-point shooting upside tonight.
1. TJ Power 3+ threes (-118 on FanDuel)
Game: Pennsylvania vs. Illinois
Tip: 9:25 PM ET
First up in the Penn vs. Illinois which also featured in our boosted CBB parlay at bet365 sportsbook, we're looking at the Quakers' three-point leader from the regular season to knock down a trio of shots form beyond the arc.
What makes Power jump off the page of the Dimers Pro Projections Hub is not only his projection of 3.9 threes made which is tied for the highest of the day with three other players, but also that his line is o/u 2.5 threes.
That means we project him to clear that mark significantly at odds of -132 on Caesars Sportsbook, but where FanDuel doesn't have the O/U market, they have 3+ listed at -118, a great price with our model projecting nearly a full three-pointer over the mark.
Power's three-point prop is one of our best of the day with a 68.5% probability of reaching the line he's hit in six straight games entering the tournament.

2. Kanon Catchings 3+ threes (-102 on FanDuel)
Game: St. Louis vs. Georgia
Tip: 9:45 PM ET
Next up, we're looking at another player projected to lead the slate in threes, Kanon Catchings of Georgia.
Catchings was second on the team in threes made this season, but was more accurate than leader Jeremiah Wilkinson, shooting over 38% from beyond the arc.
Like Power in the Penn-Illinois game, Catchings projects for 3.9 threes by the Dimers model but with favorable odds of -102 to just hit three. He knocked down 4+ in three games leading into the tournament and 9 of his L15.
St. Louis boasted a strong three-point defense this season but saw 25+ attempts per game this season, pointing to volume for Catchings in the opening round.

3. RJ Johnson 2+ threes (-118 on FanDuel)
Game: Gonzaga vs. Kennesaw State
Tip: 10:00 PM ET
Our final prop turns to the second game featured in our bet365 boosted parlay, Gonzaga vs. Kennesaw State, where our top projected three-point leader is RJ Johnson at 2.1.
Johnson isn't projected as high as the other two but he stands out at this game's top shooter from deep with favorable odds to hit a pair of three-pointers as he's done in 6 of his L10 games entering the tournament.
He was the team's most accurate shooter at 43% from beyond the arc this season and Gonzaga ranked in the middle of the nation in terms of three-point defense.
The Owls will need their shooter dialed in from deep for a chance to flip the script on opening night and our model projects Johnson to lead the way in that effort.
