Rules for suspended or postponed games

One thing I looked into during my SportsMillions review was how the site handles postponed or suspended matches. It’s pretty straightforward. If a game gets pushed back or stopped and doesn’t wrap up within 24 hours of its original start time, the legs get voided. However, if a match gets cut short but is still considered official by the league, it counts like normal. That leg will be scored and included in your entry.

I also noted that once the game is done and SportsMillions pays out, the DFS brand doesn’t go back to tweak results. That’s even if the pro leagues make changes later. Nevertheless, the site has the right to adjust things if there’s an error in the data feed or result calculations.

To know whether a Pick’em leg has been suspended or postponed, pay attention to its status. These are the five main statuses I came across during my review:

1. Not started: The event hasn’t kicked off yet
2. In-play: The match is currently live and ongoing
3. Correct: Your prediction for that leg was right
4. Incorrect: Your pick didn’t land as expected
5. Void: The leg was cancelled/postponed or didn’t meet the rules, so it doesn’t count

A note on lineup restrictions

When building Pick’em DFS entries on SportsMillions, you’ll do more than just choosing the right players. You need to make sure your selections meet all the necessary requirements, known as Lineup Restrictions. Here’s what you need to watch out for:

• At least two teams must be represented: You can’t pick all your players from one team. This ensures your lineups are diverse and reduces the chance of just riding one team’s performance.
• A minimum of two active picks is required: If you only have one active leg, maybe due to postponements or voids, the entry won’t be counted as a win or loss. SportsMillions will simply return your bet.
• No duplicate players: Even if the stat lines differ, you can’t use the same athlete more than once in a single entry. Choose someone else.

Understanding Flex Play at SportsMillions

Yeah, the site is, and there’s no two ways about it. It offers daily fantasy sports, which is different from traditional betting. Accordingly, DFS is above board and fits right in with US laws.
