Launched in 2024, SportsMillions lets you play daily fantasy sports using a unique Pick’em model. The site offers higher/lower picks across 15 sports and leagues, including heavyweights like the NHL, NBA, NHL, NCAAF, and MLB.
My SportsMillions review will explain everything you need to know about how the brand works. For starters, it’s legit and legal in 36+ states across the US. While Sportsmillions promo codethe site also has a social casino, the Pick’em section is a real money product, so you can cash out on winning legs. Continue reading as I roll out more details.
If you’re in for DFS at SportsMillions, Pick’em sure will feel right at home. Basically, it’s all about predicting whether a player’s stat will go over or under a given number. It’s the common DFS method, so nothing complicated.
While on the site, I picked Stephen Curry in a game against the Clippers to hit over 25.5 points. SportsMillions presented Higher or Lower options. I clicked on Higher, set my bet amount, submitted, and that was all. If my instinct told me Curry won’t hit more than 25.5, I would have selected Lower. However, the guy’s been putting up ridiculous numbers, so I was super confident.
Besides the NBA, SportsMillions also offers Pick’em for the NFL, MLB, NHL, MLS, and more. I’m quite a soccer fan, so my second bet was on Lionel Messi (the GOAT, as he’s called) to hit over 4.5 shots in a match between Inter Miami and Chicago Fire FC.
You may wonder how much you’d win from correct DFS predictions on SportsMillions. Well, it depends on the number of picks, and here’s the rundown:
| Number of picks | Payout |
| Pick 2 | 3x |
| Pick 3 | 6x |
| Pick 4 | 11x |
| Pick 5 | 20x |
| Pick 6 | 40x |
| Pick 7 | 70x |
| Pick 8 | 130x |
| Pick 9 | 250x |
| Pick 10 | 450x |
| Pick 11 | 800x |
| Pick 12 | 1,500x |
One thing I looked into during my SportsMillions review was how the site handles postponed or suspended matches. It’s pretty straightforward. If a game gets pushed back or stopped and doesn’t wrap up within 24 hours of its original start time, the legs get voided. However, if a match gets cut short but is still considered official by the league, it counts like normal. That leg will be scored and included in your entry.
I also noted that once the game is done and SportsMillions pays out, the DFS brand doesn’t go back to tweak results. That’s even if the pro leagues make changes later. Nevertheless, the site has the right to adjust things if there’s an error in the data feed or result calculations.
To know whether a Pick’em leg has been suspended or postponed, pay attention to its status. These are the five main statuses I came across during my review:
When building Pick’em DFS entries on SportsMillions, you’ll do more than just choosing the right players. You need to make sure your selections meet all the necessary requirements, known as Lineup Restrictions. Here’s what you need to watch out for:
Trust me, your experience with SportsMillions will be more rewarding if you stick to the above.
Flex Play is one of my overall best features on SportsMillions DFS. It’s definitely one to turn to if you want to add strategy to your entries. Instead of the usual all-or-nothing approach, Flex Play gives you a chance to win even if you don’t get every pick right. Basically, the DFS site will reduce your potential payout. However, in return, you get protection against a few bad legs ruining your entire entry.
For example, I submitted a 4-pick entry. If I hit all four, I get the full 11x payout. However, I only hit three, and got a lower return of 4x — less than the standard 6x return for three winning picks. I recommend using Flex Play on games you’re not too confident about. It’ll take off a lot of the pressure.
Yeah, the site is, and there’s no two ways about it. It offers daily fantasy sports, which is different from traditional betting. Accordingly, DFS is above board and fits right in with US laws.
That said, I must note that there are a few states where folks can’t join the party. These include:
A total of 14 restricted states, which isn’t too bad. If you’re in the other 36+ states, you’re good to go. You don’t have to worry about your safety, as SportsMillions is pretty secure. During my SportsMillions review, I verified that the site uses SSL technology to encrypt data sent and received.
The moment I created my SportsMillions account and made my first deposit, the site gave me $10 as a bonus. I didn’t have to enter a SportsMillions promo code to qualify. Plus, there’s no fixed minimum deposit. Simply fund your Pick’em account with an amount within your budget, and you’re good to go.
After making your deposit, watch out for a pop-up with Claim It. Then, click to receive the reward. From my checks, SportsMillions doesn’t have rigorous terms and conditions for the offer. You can use it any time you want, and there’s no extra rollover.
To be real, SportsMillions isn’t rolling out the red carpet for existing players. I say so because there’s no loyalty program or VIP ladder to climb. The site can use some real improvements in this aspect, but you can expect seasonal promos from time to time.
The SportsMillions interface is dark-themed, which I recognize as a trend among many DFS sites nowadays. Anyway, it’s easy to get around, which is what matters. Much of this is thanks to the menu on the left, which allows me to instantly jump from one page to another.
When I’m on the Pick’em page, everything’s neatly arranged. The featured games are split into separate sections, so whether I’m looking for an NBA matchup or PGA picks, it’s quick to spot.
One drawback from my SportsMillions review is that there’s no mobile app. While I’d love to use one, the mobile site is quite usable. It adds a bottom menu, which highlights My Entries, Blitz’em, and Pick’em. Therefore, it was easy to make and follow up my DFS higher/lower picks.
If you want to fund your SportsMillions account, you’ve got secure payment options. The site offers VISA, Mastercard, Discover, Google Pay, and Apple Pay. To access them, simply click the yellow Deposit button when you log into your account.
Based on my experience, deposits are instant on the SportsMillions DFS site. You’ll find the money in your account within seconds if successful.
For withdrawals, SportsMillions also doesn’t complicate the situation. While on the DFS site, I found a $10 minimum withdrawal, which is pretty low. Also, keep in mind that withdrawals can take anywhere between 2 to 5 working days.
I poked around the support side of SportsMillions at the end of my review. Here’s the lowdown: the DFS site has all the main options. These include live chat, email, and phone. There’s also a detailed Help Center with answers to several questions, which came in handy a couple of times.
My first stop was the live chat. It’s 24/7 and actually snappy, with responses under a minute during working hours. The catch is that it’s only available to players who’ve made a deposit.
Email support was decent when I tried it, too, as I got a reply within an hour. If you’ve got a transaction issue, the phone option is your best shot at resolving it. Don’t call for anything else, as the line is only for payment-related queries.
If I’m asked to describe SportsMillions, I’d call it a novel DFS site. I’m someone who enjoys the strategy and stat-driven fun of daily fantasy sports. However, I sometimes don’t want to worry about making any commitment.
With Pick’em, you particularly get that classic DFS vibe. As I confirmed in this SportsMillions review, the mode is legal across 36+ states.
All the same, I won’t say SportsMillions is perfect. The lack of a proper loyalty program and mobile app are drawbacks, but I find them manageable. Ultimately, if you’re into DFS and you wish to make picks on one of the latest sites, SportsMillions is worth a shot.
