BetMGM to Launch in Missouri in 2025
Last year,
MO sports betting
passed through the public vote by a relatively slim margin. As a result, six sportsbooks have been approved for launch later this year, including BetMGM.
The Missouri Gaming Commission (MGC), which is responsible for regulating the newly approved sports wagering industry, can only issue two independent licenses. FanDuel and DraftKings have already secured these licenses; however, other brands can obtain approval in the state by partnering with a Missouri land-based casino company.

When Will BetMGM Launch Officially in MO?
Unfortunately for Kansas City Chiefs fans, BetMGM and the other five sportsbooks won’t launch in time for the start of the NFL season. They will, however, be live in time for the playoffs and the Super Bowl, with a December 1, 2025, deadline now officially confirmed.
Who Can Use BetMGM in Missouri?
When it finally goes live in December this year, the BetMGM retail and online sportsbooks will be accessible for adults aged 21+ who are physically located in the Show Me State. This includes non-residents and visitors to the state.
Will College Sports Betting Be Available?
Yes, NCAA betting has been approved as part of the bill, including in-state-based college sports teams. This means that, as well as wagering on professional major league MO franchises, like the Chiefs (NFL), Royals (MLB), and the Blues, you’ll also find markets for the Missouri Tigers · Missouri State Bears, and other college sports teams.
