The Week 4 NFL betting action wraps up the Sunday slate with Panthers vs. Lions on Sunday Night Football from Bank of America Stadium on October 4, 2026.

As always, we've built a three-leg same game NFL parlay at +470 odds, utilizing the data from our elite Dimers Pro NFL predictions, best bets and player props.

Panthers vs. Lions Sunday Night Football parlay

The Lions head to Bank of America Stadium for Sunday Night Football as 3.5-point favorites, and the Dimers model gives Detroit a 62.9% chance to win.

Both defenses come in banged up, with the 51.5-point total the highest on the Week 4 slate.

Carolina's secondary is depleted with starting corners Jaycee Horn (torn quad) and Mike Jackson both on injured reserve, a tough spot against Amon-Ra St. Brown, Jameson Williams and Jahmyr Gibbs.

Detroit's pass defense hasn't been much better. The Lions have a bottom-of-the-barrel passing defense, which opens the door for Bryce Young, Tetairoa McMillan and a Panthers offense that has shown plenty of scoring upside.

Dimers projects a 26-23 Lions win, with Carolina covering the spread and the game finishing just under the total.

Our Panthers-Lions same game parlay picks

This three-leg NFL parlay is supported by our Dimers data and expert analysis, drawing from our NFL Projections Hub, which provides detailed player-level insights for every game.

Leg 1: Jahmyr Gibbs 90+ rushing yards

The data case: Arguably the league's scariest player to defend, dual-threat Jahmyr Gibbs has lived up to they hype as the workhorse RB1 in Detroit following the departure of David Montgomery.

After handling 20+ carries twice all of last season, Gibbs has already done so twice, recording 156 and 99 rushing yards in those games.

He's Dimers' top-projected RB for scoring touchdowns and leads all players in projected rushing yards at 98.2 in our NFL Projections Hub.

Panthers vs. Lions parlay picks: Combine these Sunday Night Football prop bets at +470 odds

A bit inflated by a Week 1 beatdown where they gave up 291 rushing yards, the Panthers still have the worst rushing defense in the NFL and will have their toughest test yet this season, as when they faced the Falcons in Week 2, Bijan Robinson's upside was capped behind a Cooper Rush-led offense.

Carolina's passing defense has been strong, allowing the fifth-fewest passing yards and just 4 scores, so the Lions may be forced to lean on their best player like they did behind Gibbs' 29 carries in Week 1.

Leg 2: Tetairoa McMillan 70+ receiving yards

The data case: The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year, Tetairoa McMillan is coming off a down week with just 5 targets and 17 receiving yards, but remains the Panthers' most-targeted player with 23 looks through 3 games, and he hit this mark in his first two games.

McMillan's chemistry with QB Bryce Young continues to grow as the Panthers find an offensive identity, and Tet projects for 72.7 receiving yards on Sunday night, 13th among all WRs.

The matchup is as good as it gets, with the Lions allowing the most passing yards to date across three games (Cleveland leads with a fourth game already played), one of just three teams that have allowed 900+.

Leading receivers against the Lions have gone for 182, 95 and 107 yards so far.

Leg 3: Tetairoa McMillan anytime TD scorer

The data case: We'll stick with our man to score for all of the same reasons above.

The Lions have allowed the second-most passing touchdowns in the NFL (9) and the top targets for their opponents continue to find the end zone, notably all 3 of New York's top receivers scored last week.

McMillan is the Panthers' third-highest TD scorer probability at 32.6%, behind Chuba Hubbard and fellow WR Jalen Coker, who is nursing an injury and may not be 100%.

McMillan has yet to score this season, but the volume and opportunity should pay off sooner than later.
