The new MLB season continues, and we've got another full 15-game MLB betting slate on Friday, April 3, packed with the best bets, MLB player props, and home run predictions with the Dimers model.

We've retooled our MLB props model over the offseason, and our backtesting reveals very positive early results, with an increased ROI in several prop markets, which we'll be utilizing in today's MLB parlay.

All season long, you'll find these prop markets in the Dimers App, the ultimate companion tool for Dimers Pro users. If you don't have Dimers Pro, you can sign up in the App today and get a three-day free trial - learn more below!

Three MLB hitters to bet on today - Friday, April 3

Today, we are going to use multiple Dimers tools to find three players to bet based on multiple favorable datapoints, ranging from high hit probabilities to the pitchers our model thinks get knocked around today.

We used this strategy on Wednesday, and while we came up one leg short of the parlay, we cashed a Pete Crow-Armstrong RBI at +222 and a Luke Raley hit at +125.

Combining our hitter projections with our best MLB player props and even our early-season MLB trends is an ideal way to narrow down a full slate of players to a handful of top targets.

1. Adolis Garcia (Phillies) to get an RBI (+117)

Game: Phillies vs. Rockies

Time: 4:10 PM ET

To start things off, we'll target the pitcher our model puts at the top of the board for earned runs today, Michael Lorenzen of the Rockies, projected for a significant 4.04 ER, almost one full run over any other pitcher. As of publishing, only two other pitchers even project for at least 3, so that signals production by the Phillies.

Unsurprisingly, as they are a power-hitting lineup in Coors Field against a pitcher, who just had his worst season ERA since he was a member of ... the Phillies.

RBIs won't come cheap in this game - Bryce Harper and Kyle Schwarber are both priced north of 50%, but sit right around 39% by our model.

Let's look at Adolis Garcia. He's our third-highest RBI probability for Philadelphia, but at 37.8%, so barely behind the sluggers. He's also priced under 50% for an RBI, unlike the top sluggers at +117. Still off our fair odds, but much better. Garcia is on a three-game streak with 2+ hits, has done well vs righties and vs. Lorenzen's top two pitches.

2. Taylor Ward (Orioles) to get an RBI (+224)

Game: Orioles vs. Pirates

Time: 4:12 PM ET

In another late afternoon game, multiple props are lining up to tell us that we should bet on the Orioles' hitters.

Pirates' starter Mitch Keller gets an edge to allow over 5.5 hits, over 2.5 earned runs and to go under 4.5 strikeouts.

Keller had a great first outing vs. the Mets, giving up just 3 hits over 6.0 IP, but will face an Orioles lineup that's tallied 24 RBI and a .728 team OPS vs. right-handed pitchers through six games.

That lineup is led off by offseason acquisition Taylor Ward, coming off a career-best season with 35 home runs and 103 RBI, and he was great against Keller's primary four-pitch mix last season.

He's got 7 hits and 3 RBI in 23 at-bats vs. righthanders this year and is right around fair odds for an RBI at +224 and 28.1% by the Dimers model.

3. Brendan Donovan (Mariners) to get an RBI (+184)

Game: Mariners vs. Angels

Time: 9:38 PM ET

We go to the late-night slate for our final hitter, targeting one of the other pitchers who projects for a higher number of earned runs, the Angels' Reid Detmers.

Detmers gets a 72.5% probability to allow over 1.5 earned runs, a top three prop probability on the slate, and he projects for 3.02 by our model. He was smacked around for 3 ER on 6 hits in 4.2 IP in his season debut by the Astros, and he's never posted a season ERA lower than 3.77.

Seattle's best hitter vs. lefties so far this year has been Brendan Donovan, their best hitter overall, with 4 knocks in 10 at-bats and a beefy .417 average to start the year.

Our model's RBI probabilities for Seattle are relatively evenly distributed, with a span of about 7% from the lowest to the highest, with Donovan landing at 22.2%. Donovan either hits at the top of the order, or behind Randy Arozarena, one of the few Mariners hitters getting on base, setting up multiple opportunities to drive home a run.
