Home Run Picks and Cheat Sheet for "King of the Diamond" DraftKings Promo Today, May 9

If you regularly find yourself wondering "who will hit a home run today," then this latest DraftKings promo is perfect for you.
DraftKings' King of the Diamond MLB betting promo returns on Friday, May 9 with a $1 Million worth of bonus bets up for grabs.
Continuing their fan-favorite "King of" promo series with another giveaway offering $1 Million in bonus bets to share among those who correctly pick the King of the Diamond best bet, DraftKings continues to offer some of the best promos in all of sportsbetting.
And the best part - you don’t even need to win the full bet to cash in.
So how does that work?
It's simple - opt in to the promotion and receive your "King of the Diamond" token. Pick 2-5 best home run bets into a single parlay, apply your token to the picks in your betslip, and meet the wager requirements. If the player you bet on hits a home run *and* is on the highest scoring team of the day across all Friday night MLB games, you'll win your share of $1 Million in bonus bets.
No matter if your full parlay wins or loses, as long as one of the players you pick hits a HR on the highest scoring team, then you'll earn an even share of the $1 Million bonus. Plus, new users at DraftKings can unlock a $200 bonus bet offer by betting just their first $5 at the sportsbook - there's no better time to sign up!
Previous King of the Diamond Winners
Most recently on May 5, the Cubs were the highest scoring team with Carson Kelly and Ian Happ each going yard as the Cubs scored 9 runs - this returned a $1,415 bonus bet to each of the 707 winners.
On May 2, it was the Mariners with Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodrigues hitting home runs en route a 13-run total for Seattle, returning a $249 bonus bet to the 4,029 winners.
As you can see, the payout can be big time, even if your parlays loses!
MLB Home Run Cheat Sheet for King of the Diamond
There are multiple ways to approach this promo and you can take a chance on a longshot if you're daring enough, made easier by the rules which allow you to parlay up to five players, just like Dimers' Home Run Round Robins.
First things first, a couple strategies:
1. Pick 1 player from 5 different games: For starters, there's no reason not to pick 5 players. The minimum bet is just $5 which means you're taking a $5 shot at potentially hundreds in bonus bets, so why limit yourself to only 2 or 3 possible winners? Selecting one player from the five teams you think are most likely to rack up runs can spread your potential wins across 5 teams, getting yourself the most overall coverage.
2. Pick 2-3 teams and 1-2 players from each: Can't decide which matchup is the best? Focus on 2-3 teams you like to score the most in favorable matchups and take 1-2 players form each team until you get your 5. This spreads your bets out a little bit less than one player per team, but gives you a couple backups if your top pick on each team doesn't hit a homer.
3. Pick 5 players from one team - Go all in on a single team. This is probably the least effective strategy but if you are dead set on one team to score a lot, or simply don't think the other games offer good HR matchups, rack up a 3-5 legger on players from one team. You get a big chunk of the lineup and if just one of them hits, you're in the driver's seat for your share of $1 Million in bonus bets if that team scores the most runs, too.
