Which NBA Teams Have the Highest Demand for Season Tickets in 2023?

Despite lower game attendance in recent years, the NBA season ticket market is still booming. But we wanted to know who exactly it is booming for, and who is falling behind the curve. So, we analyzed searches for season tickets on Google this year.

Looking at searches on Google, the Los Angeles Lakers are the most searched-for team for season tickets, followed by the Boston Celtics and New York Knicks. This is likely due to the Lakers' and Celtics' large fan bases, as well as the Knicks' location in the largest media market in the United States.

Other teams with high search volume include the San Antonio Spurs, Golden State Warriors, Philadelphia 76ers, Chicago Bulls, Miami Heat, Phoenix Suns, and Atlanta Hawks. These teams are all expected to be competitive in the upcoming season, and they have a mix of young stars and established veterans. Moreover, additional interest in the Spurs is likely due to the signing of Victor Wembanyama, the No. 1 overall pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. His planned arrival in San Antonio has generated a lot of excitement among Spurs fans.

Teams with lower season ticket search volume include the Memphis Grizzlies, Charlotte Hornets, Denver Nuggets, Utah Jazz, Dallas Mavericks, Los Angeles Clippers, Houston Rockets, Sacramento Kings, Washington Wizards, Oklahoma City Thunder, and Indiana Pacers.
