EPL Team-by-team previews, picks and bets: Part One

After an extremely short beak, the Premier League is back, and there's no better season to get into English soccer than this one!

The top teams are all looking strong, including Christian Pulisic's Chelsea who have made some big signings in the off-season.

We've gone through every team in the league, predicting just how they will fare and how you can best make some money off them!

Part Two of our EPL preview

➖ odds is what you BET to win $100
➕ odds is what you WIN if you bet $100

⚽ Arsenal

The Gunners are fast falling away from the other traditional big clubs and with the signings being made by Chelsea, Liverpool and Man City, they could find themselves even further behind this year.

The club and its fans will have hopes of a top four finish but right now that is looking extremely far-fetched, with an FA Cup run their best shot at silverware again this season.

🔥 Dimers’ Pick - Top 6 (-189)

⚽ Aston Villa

Aston Villa left it right until the final game to survive relegation last season and despite fans hoping for a less stressful time for 2020/21, we can’t see it happening.

Villa are going to be right amongst the bottom pack again and we are actually projecting them to head down to the Championship at the end of the season.

🔥 Dimers’ Pick - Relegation (+175)

Brighton

Another team likely to be in a relegation scrap this season is Brighton and Hove Albion. Their key signing so far is Adam Lallana from Liverpool on a free transfer. Despite Lallana’s age, we feel as though he could be the difference between relegation and survival for this Brighton side.

With another top-flight season under the squad’s belt and the addition of Lallana’s experience, we’ve got Brighton avoiding relegation again this season.

Dimers’ Pick - No bet

Burnley

Burnley are set to embark on their fifth straight season in the Premier League and fast becoming one of the main stayers. Despite this, there’s always a risk for a club of their size that this could be their last season before heading down the Championship.

We believe that with Sean Dyche at the helm though, they should be safe this season and have them pushing another strong showing.

Dimers’ Pick - No bet

⚽ Chelsea

The Blues have been the busiest team in the transfer window so far, bringing in stars including Timo Werner (RB Leipzig), Hakim Ziyech (Ajax) and Ben Chillwell (Leicester). After finishing last season strong and snatching a top four position, they will surely have plans to build on that and push even higher.

Although they have signed four players that are set to slot straight into the starting eleven, these guys will likely take a while to gel and with the strength of Man City and Liverpool, they probably won’t be able to crack a top two spot just yet.

Dimers’ Pick - Top 4 (-228)

⚽ Crystal Palace

Palace is one of a handful of clubs that survived last season with relative ease but yet an’t be too confident of the same result this upcoming season. With rumors of Zaha leaving (like every season), this season may just be a bridge too far for the Eagles.

Even with the signing of promising young English forward Eberchi Eze from QPR, we have Palace heading down to the second division.

🔥 Dimers’ Pick - Relegation (+200)

Everton

Every year, the Toffees are a common ‘dark horse’ pick as one of the biggest teams outside of the now traditional top 6 (or does Leciester make it 7?) and this season seems to be going down the same track.

We have them finishing around 8th, and should comfortably be top half.

Dimers’ Pick - Top 10 (-150)

Fulham

The Cottagers were in the Premier League as recently as two years, a season in which they spent big only for it all to collapse. This time though, we expect them to have learnt from their mistakes and have them putting in a better shift for 2020/21.

Scott Parker knows what it takes to avoid relegation, having been there as a player. As manager, he is loved and shou;d be able to keep Fulham up this season.

Dimers’ Pick - Avoid relegation (-137)

Leeds

They’re back! After 16 long years, Leeds United are back in the Premier League and they have no plans to leave any time soon. The Whites had plenty of close calls as they looked to work their way back into the top flight of English soccer and finally got there in the most dominant way possible, winning the Championship by a massive 10 points.

Looking forward to this season, Leeds have the best chance of the promoted teams to make some noise and with Marco Bielsa at the wheel, they won’t be settling for mediocrity. We have them not quite cracking the top half of the table, but safely nestling themselves around 13th - 15th.

Dimers’ Pick - No bet

Leicester

The Foxes started last season on an absolute mission and for some stage looked like pushing Liverpool and Manchester City in the title race. The 2016 champions though couldn’t keep it up and eventually slipped out of the top four.

With the loss of Ben Chilwell (Chelsea) and Jamie Vardy turning 34 next January, we’ve got them falling short of the top four once again. They’ve surprised us all before but this season looks like a bridge too far for Brendan Rodgers and his men.

🔥 Dimers’ Pick - Top 6 (+225)
