GoldRushCity.com was launched in early 2025 and I’ve been testing this US sweepstakes casino since then to see what it’s about and if it’s worthy of your time.
During my GoldRushCity.com review I found that the site has potential, but it’s not fully developed and there are still many features that need implementing before it is a top contender. Below, I expand on my findings and look at important things like the welcome bonus, game selection, and usability.

I’ve created a complete GoldRushCity.com bonus review where you can see the different ways to get coins, but to start, I've explained the welcome bonus you get as a new customer. When you register an account with GoldRushCity.com you get 15,000 Gold Coins and 500 Sweeps Coins which at first glance sounds incredible.
However, please note that the conversion rate of Sweeps Coins is 1:100 not 1:1. So you aren’t getting an equivalent value of $500 in Sweeps Coins, but $5. Still, that’s better than many sweepstakes casinos I’ve played at and quite generous. The downside here is that there are virtually no other ways to get Sweeps Coins for free.
I couldn’t find anything like a daily login bonus, referral scheme, or VIP club. So, the welcome bonus is essentially the only way you can get free Sweeps Coins so make sure you use them wisely!
For this GoldCityRush.com review I spent time testing the UI of the website and seeing how easy it was to get on with. I think that new sweepstakes casino players will easily be able to understand how the site works and how to navigate through the different game categories.
On the left-hand side, there is the main menu which includes links to promotions, responsible gaming, and several different game categories. The game categories are a little sparse as you only have links to the main lobby, exclusive games, new games, and popular games, so there isn’t actually any separation by genre like slots or table games.
Page speeds are fine and the different game categories load quickly. I also like the overall color scheme, logo, and theme. Yes, it’s a little basic, but it looks clean and relatively modern at least. The thing I don’t like about the site design is that pages like the terms and conditions and sweepstakes rules load in a pop-up which means the text is scrunched up into smaller blocks that are more difficult to read.
I was surprised to see a GoldRushCity.com mobile app available at both the App Store for iOS devices and the Google Play Store for Android devices. I was unsure if it was the same company at first as the app is developed by 3064 Studios, whereas the brand is owned and operated by Play City Group LLC.
Regardless, I downloaded the Android version and it is the same one. It has a 4.5 star rating from 20 reviews on the Google Play Store, but only a 3.0 star rating from 8 reviews on the App Store. Negative comments relating to the app were generally centered on poor communication from the support team.
I tried the app and mobile-responsive browser version of GoldRushCity.com on my Samsung and both worked fine. The game lobby and style of the app look pretty dated and there were some loading time issues with the games. But otherwise, I had an OK gaming experience - I still think the desktop website is better though.
GoldRushCity.com is free to play at but it has a range of optional Gold Coin packages which include GC and SC. I think these packages are OK value and you do at least get SC at a rate of 1:1. Purchasing options for Gold Coin packages that I saw include Visa, MasterCard, and online bank transfer.
Just be aware that you may see different purchasing methods compared to what I saw. When I purchased one of the lower-value GC packages, the purchasing process was smooth and the coins were credited instantly to my account.

I was pretty disappointed with the customer support options at GoldRushCity.com. If you click on the “Help” link in the website footer, the FAQ section and help center opens. You’ve got a general search bar where you can ask questions and browse through the FAQs. The FAQs, I think, are the best support method - they explain the core features of the sweepstakes casino pretty well such as how Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins work.
However, if you want to actually speak to someone then you need to use email support. There is a live chat icon, but this isn’t a live chat at all. It’s basically an email support ticket system disguised as a live chat which I found confusing. Click it and then you can send a message to the support team - but they will reply by email, not by live chat.
There is also a generic support email you can send messages to. I sent several emails and the response time was pretty slow - it usually took them at least 2 hours to reply. The replies were helpful though and I at least got answers to my problems.

GoldRushCity.com doesn’t need a gambling license as it operates under US sweepstakes regulations. Users who live in Idaho, Kentucky, Massachusetts, Michigan, Nevada, New Jersey, or Washington cannot legally create an account at GoldRushCity. This sweepstakes casino does comply with US regulations by requiring no purchase necessary to play, and giving customers free Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins.
The website has a secure HTTPS connection and uses SSL encryption, and at the time of writing this GoldRushCity.com review, there was a valid SSL certificate. The site also has a detailed privacy policy, terms and conditions, and sweepstakes rules that state how the site works and your rights when accessing it.
I found no evidence of a VIP club or loyalty scheme at GoldRushCity.com. Currently, the site is pretty sparse when it comes to GC and SC promotions outside of the welcome bonus. I couldn’t find details of a daily login bonus, and there doesn’t seem to be a referral scheme either.
The only thing I did find was the mail-in request bonus and this can be completed by telephone or postal request. Details are found in the help section of the website, but it doesn’t actually say how many free Sweeps Coins you get! The help center also mentions that you can get coins through daily rewards, but it provides no details, and I never got any free coins by this method.
Yes. GoldRushCity.com offers free play games and requires no purchase necessary which is in compliance with US sweepstakes regulations.
You can play casino-style games at GoldRushCity.com using Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins that you can get for free in different ways like the welcome bonus.
15,000 Gold Coins and 500 Sweeps Coins when you register a new account and verify your ID.

GoldRushCity.com features games from Booming Games, Relax Gaming, Storm Games, and Slingo. This is a relatively limited number of game providers and there are some major omissions such as BGaming and Betsoft. In total, I counted 66 games which is also relatively small considering that most sweepstakes casinos today have at least 300+ games. The game categories include:
This means that there are no single play table games, no live dealer games, no arcade games, and no video poker. I think the slot collection is fine though as it features some cool titles from Booming Games like Howling for Gold, Diamond Hits, and Stampede Bonanza. The Storm Games slots are quite fun too and I’ve not seen these anywhere else. I enjoyed playing Gladiator’s Revenge, Captain Cashfall, and I Love the 90s.
GoldRushCity.com uses Gold Coins and Sweeps Coins for gameplay:
I enjoyed playing the different slot games at GoldRushCity.com and I think the collection of Booming Games slots are great. The welcome bonus also means you can jump right into the action and start playing. However, the site also has room for improvement - it needs some table games and live dealer games, and a wider selection of slots overall, plus more bonus variety.
