You won’t find an Underdog promo code for prediction markets. This new product has garnered sufficient interest for the brand to focus on other aspects, although it still offers a welcome bonus for its DFS product.
Underdog Predict can be accessed from the same app as Underdog Fantasy, and it’s available in most US states currently. The Predict product allows you to trade peer-to-peer contracts for sports, politics, culture, and other categories, although sports is undeniably the main attraction. Here we’ll tell you about signing up at Underdog, and provide examples of what’s available.
As mentioned briefly, Underdog Predict is a new product. As such, the legalities surrounding prediction markets in the US are still evolving, and it may be the case that Underdog will offer a sign up offer and/or other promotions in the future. For now, maintaining consistently low Underdog prediction market fees is the brand’s main focus.
That means you can only claim the Underdog Fantasy welcome bonus when you register with the brand, and download the app. To access this you will need to deposit at least $10, then spend $5 on DFS entries. Once done, you’ll receive $50 of free entries.
This may suit some of you, especially if you already make use of other daily fantasy sports sites, but if you’re only signing up to access Underdog Predict, there’s no obligation to claim the Fantasy bonus.

Just remember that although the principle remains the same, each brand that offers this type of product will do things slightly differently. So it doesn’t necessarily follow that PrizePicks prediction markets will be the same as those offered by Underdog.
Unlike general prediction exchanges that only cover non-sporting events, Underdog Predict is a sports-centric platform structured around federally regulated sports event contracts. While you will not find climate or weather categories here, the platform does expand beyond live sports to include targeted contracts for high-profile real-world outcomes. This includes major events in politics, culture, and economics. However, the core of the platform remains dedicated to delivering deep, comprehensive action across all major sports leagues.
While platforms like Kalshi focus heavily on political elections and economic data, Underdog Predict leans entirely into its bread and butter: high-action sports markets. Underdog offers a direct peer-to-peer trading arena across all major sports leagues
If your favorite niche league isn't on the board yet, don't worry. The platform is actively expanding its roster, regularly adding new international tournaments and seasonal leagues to the trading feed.
When you browse the Underdog Predict dashboard, you won't see traditional moneyline odds like +150 or -110. Instead, every outcome displays two numbers shown as cents or percentages (like $0.60 or 60%).
This represents the live, crowd-sourced probability of that event happening. As game-day news breaks, players get injured, or public sentiment shifts, these contract prices fluctuate in real time, giving you the flexibility to trade your positions before the final buzzer.
The most popular sports contracts at Underdog are Team Picks and Player Picks. But the brand does offer some more complex multi-selection options too. However, we’ll start with a straightforward example to give you a feel for how things work.
All contracts have a value of $1, split between the selections, and reflecting the probability of an outcome. You will see the details for each event start with a simple question, with the option to select ‘Yes’ or ‘No’.
An example of a Team Pick would be the imminent NHL clash between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Tampa Bay Lightning. The question posed would ask if the Maple Leafs will win. The split might be 60% for the Maple Leafs, and 40% for Lightning, which is based on the opinion of all users who have purchased contracts.
In this example, if the Maple Leafs win, you would receive a payout of $1 per contract purchased, reflecting a $0.40 profit on the initial $0.60 purchase cost. Of course, market sentiment can change ahead of an event and by match face off time, the probabilities could change considerably, and so would your payout/profit.
You won’t find these types of contracts on all sites, they’re not available among the Fanatics prediction markets, for example. Underdog Player Picks work in much the same way as Team Picks, but are related to individual player stats. For an NFL match, you might find contracts for options like these, which are called scalar contracts, because the relate to a number range, rather than a simple Yes/No:
Underdog's fee documentation cites a $0.02 per-contract trading fee as an example, charged on both the entry and exit sides of a trade, though we did find that it notes that additional exchange fees may apply, so this isn't necessarily fixed for every contract.
Underdog Predict operates via an NFA-approved Futures Commission Merchant affiliate and, following its 2026 acquisition of Aristotle Exchange, now owns its own CFTC-registered exchange and clearinghouse infrastructure, positioning it to deliver federally regulated sports derivatives directly to its users.
Underdog CEO Jeremy Levine has signaled continued expansion of native markets on this infrastructure going forward. Underdog itself is also set to change hands, having agreed in August 2026 to be acquired by UK-based IG Group in a deal reported at up to $2.15 billion, though it's expected to keep operating independently once that deal closes.
Because financial regulations fluctuate, monitoring regional compliance parameters remains critical. Meanwhile, here is your quick, high-density recap of the platform rules:
The lack of a standalone Underdog Predict promo code isn't a drawback, it reflects the platform's structure as a federally regulated exchange rather than a traditional sportsbook. The real value here is the peer-to-peer trading environment, where you can buy, sell, and hedge sports positions in real time.
Combination entries are a standout feature, letting you blend fantasy play with prediction market contracts in a single combo slip, something not every platform offers. If you're ready to trade sports as a dynamic market, use the link on our page banner to set up your account and get started.
No, Underdog does not offer standalone promo codes or bonuses for its Predict product. However, you can still claim the Underdog Fantasy welcome bonus when you register.
Instead of traditional moneyline odds, Underdog Predict uses crowd-sourced probability. Each contract is valued at $1, and your potential payout is determined by the live percentage probability of an outcome, which fluctuates in real time as market sentiment shifts.
Team Picks are straightforward "Yes/No" contracts on game outcomes, such as which team will win. Player Picks allow you to trade on individual player performance stats, such as total passing yards, receiving yards, or touchdowns within a specific range.
To use the platform, you must be physically located in an approved US state where the brand operates and meet the minimum age requirement, which is 18 in all eligible states. Underdog Predict is currently unavailable in Arizona, Colorado, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee.
