Novig Fees & Prices Explained October 2026

Published: Sep 30, 2026, 7:03 PM ET

Novig charges less than $0.03 per contract in its prediction market trading fees using a particular formula that includes a changing coefficient. Only takers pay them, though, not makers. Plus, pre-game straight trades don’t attract any Novig fees whatsoever.

Deposits are also gratis when we use bank transfers or supported crypto methods. However, that’s not the case with credit cards, debit cards, and Apple Pay, which carry a 3% charge. If you want to cash out, focus on just meeting the $10 minimum limit set by Novig because the site charges zero withdrawal fees.

Quick Facts About the Novig Fee Structure

  • Novig charges makers $0, but takers pay under $0.03 per contract.
  • Credit/debit cards and Apple Pay deposits cost 3%.
  • The brand has no withdrawal fee.

Under $0.03 in Novig Trading Fees

We confirmed that the site calculates trading fees with this formula:

  • Fee = Coefficient × Price × (1 − Price) × Number of contracts

The price in question is the dollar rate of the contract, usually ranging from $0.01 to $0.99. Hence, a contract with a price of $0.50 has a value of 0.50 in the formula and pays $1.00 if it wins. This last point is important when we are comparing the trading cost with the potential payout since winning contracts still return the full $1.00 per contract.

What about the coefficient? That depends on the type of trade and isn't fixed. The figures that we observed are as follows:

The table indicates 0 for pre-game straight trades, so you won't have to pay any fees on them. Charges are minor for the other types of orders. In our calculations, they are generally less than $0.03 per contract.

Since the formula has Price × (1 − Price), the product is largest when the two numbers are equal, and that occurs at $0.50. The fee for each contract at the highest coefficient of 0.10 would then be $0.025.

We expected the number of contracts to result in reductions, but it doesn’t, unfortunately. The fee of 100 contracts, for example, is 100x the cost of buying a single contract at the same price. You won't receive a discount, unlike on some other prediction market sites that we've used.

Let’s state that these fees are just for sports event contracts. Novig doesn’t feature on our list of politics, economics, culture, climate, or tech prediction market apps since the brand focuses only on sports and nothing else.

Makers Pay Negotiable Instruments Law

A maker puts in an order which remains on the platform until it is matched by another trader, whereas a taker places an order that matches one that is already there.

We’re explaining this fact since Novig charges only taker fees, and makers pay zero, regardless of the type of trade. It gives us a simple method of avoiding fees on trades that qualify: rather than taking an available order immediately, place a resting order.

3% Novig Deposit Fees for Cards

There are several payment methods available, but they aren't all the same in terms of cost. Bank transfers via Stripe and Aeropay, as well as stablecoin and crypto deposits through Coinflow, make use of Novig's discounted rates and carry no deposit fee. If our main concern is avoiding deposit fees, those are the options we would 100% use.

With card payments, the situation is different: credit and debit cards plus Apple Pay have a 3% deposit fee. This fee is charged when you make the deposit and is displayed before you confirm the payment method.

We believe that a payment charge of 3% isn’t exactly large. But it’s much more obvious than Novig's minor trading costs. For instance, a deposit of $500 made using one of the 3% payment methods would result in a $15 fee. Likewise, funding your account with $1,000 would amount to $30.

No Novig Withdrawal Fees

Throughout our Novig prediction markets review, we didn’t pay extra money to the brand when cashing out. The site supports three withdrawal methods:

  1. Bank transfer

  2. Debit card

  3. Venmo

Each has a $10 minimum limit, but no fees. Given the 3% charge on debit card deposits, we were quite impressed to learn that such a fee doesn’t apply to withdrawals using the same payment method. We could say the same for Venmo, but the zero charge on bank transfers didn’t surprise us.

Pros and Cons of Novig Transaction Fees

These are the upsides and downsides we believe you should know about:

Conclusion – Novig Doesn’t Have Expensive Fees

From our standpoint, Novig’s charges are low where it’s most important for trading. We explained that the present structure imposes no charge on makers, the trading fees for takers are usually under $0.03 per contract, and pre-game straight trades have zero cost.

The 3% charge associated with funding accounts is the one we’d keep an eye on, as it can quickly eat into the small trading fees, especially when the deposits are large. Our simplest tip is to use a bank transfer or supported crypto deposit option when possible. Those methods qualify for Novig’s no-fee discount pricing. We can also suggest placing resting orders when possible to benefit from the fee-less position of makers.
