Welcome to my Gemini Predictions review, where I take you on a virtual tour of the prediction market platform. If you did not know, Gemini Predictions is a regulated prediction exchange and is available in the US.
My review covers all the core features, including the different types of future prediction markets, my ratings of the customer service, and how to make deposits and withdrawals. Spoiler alert: Gemini Predictions ticked plenty of right boxes. Right, let’s get started and explore the prediction trading experience on one of the newest platforms in the prediction market scene.
When I compiled my DraftKings Predict review, I shared how important it is to always use regulated prediction market platforms. The good news is that Gemini Predictions is a reputable platform. Launched in late 2025, Gemini Predictions is regulated by the Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) and operates as a Designated Contract Market (DCM).
In addition to the legal framework, I also spent time investigating the security features on Gemini Predictions. I was pleased to find that the platform prioritizes user safety and has advanced security measures in place, including password-protected accounts, KYC checks, and an encrypted banking platform.
As explained in my Sleeper Markets review, not many prediction sites welcome new users with prediction trading bonuses. At the time of writing, there is no current Gemini Predictions sign up offer for prediction trading.
While this is disappointing, I found that from time to time, there are tailored welcome offers for prediction trading, so it is best to keep an eye on the banners on this page for any active offers. As soon as an exclusive welcome promo becomes available, I will also share my thoughts on it in this review.
When buying and selling prediction positions on the platform, I noticed that there are a few existing prediction trader promos to claim, including Taker and Liquidity Rewards Programs. These promos are a work in progress, and some are not yet active but should be open to all users in the coming weeks and months. You can check out my Gemini Predictions bonus review for more details about the existing prediction trader promos, plus a few tips to make the most out of your time on the platform.
The prediction trading on Gemini Predictions works the same as the one I unpacked with my Coinbase review. All prediction trades are in binary form, Yes/No, with winning positions settled at $1, while losing prediction contracts settle at $0.
You will find both taker and maker fees and the market prices range between $0.01 and $0.99. Gemini Predictions does not set its own prediction contract prices. Instead, the price of event contracts is determined by supply and demand in the market.
Since the platform is still new to the scene, there will be more prediction markets added in the coming months. So you can expect more options, along with larger market volumes and liquidity. The table below lists some of the current future events for prediction trading, along with the different types of options:
| Future event | Prediction contract types |
|---|---|
| Sports | Match winners and Championship winners |
| Crypto | 5-minute, 15-minute, hourly, daily, and weekly forecasts |
| Politics | Local and International elections, Congress and Presidential predictions |
| Economic | Fed decisions and Macro indicators |
| Climate | Daily temperature |
| Culture | Awards |
Gemini Predictions has a user-friendly website, making it easy for even newbies to use. The white background works well and is easy on the eye when browsing the various prediction markets. When buying and selling predictions, the contracts are available in English, and there are even timeframe price fluctuations, so it is easy to view how market prices have moved based on prediction trades made by other users.
Besides the prediction contracts, everything else has its place on the site, with the informational toolkits at the bottom of the page and the cashier banner at the top (once you’re logged in). I spent time on every section of the desktop site, and all pages loaded quickly.
Many prediction platforms have dedicated apps, and Gemini Predictions has followed suit. You can make prediction trades on the go with the Android and iOS apps, which are available to download from the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. Both apps mirror each other and include the same features.
If you are not a fan of mobile apps or have limited storage space on your device, then you can instead use the mobile-optimized website. The mobile website mirrors the desktop version and is compatible with most devices, including iOS and Android. To access the mobile site, you should enter the Gemini Predictions URL into your browser, and the site should load within seconds. Just a heads up: ensure you have a stable internet connection so that there are no lags or long loading times when buying and selling event contracts.
Just as with the encrypted banking platform I mentioned in my Moomoo review, Gemini Predictions also offers safe, secure banking transactions. You can fund your prediction trading account using a debit card, PayPal, ACH Transfer and Apple Pay. Please note that there are banking fees for some payment methods, including a 2.50% PayPal deposit fee and a 3.49% debit card fee.
You will only be allowed to withdraw from the site once you have submitted your KYC documents (proof of ID and address). The same withdrawal methods are used as when depositing, so you can withdraw using ACH Transfer and Wire Transfer. There is a $25 USD Wire Transfer fee, but there are no charges when making withdrawals via ACH Transfer. From my experience, the average withdrawal times range between two and five working days, and the minimum withdrawal is set at $10.
If you need help understanding how prediction trading works or need some information about the banking options, there is a Help Center on Gemini Predictions. The Help Center covers a wide range of features and the FAQs are detailed so you should find the necessary answers to your queries.
If you still need assistance, you can use the chatbot. While there are no live agents for live support as yet, you can leave a message on the chatbot, and an agent should get back to you within a couple of hours. Email support is an option as well, and I preferred using this as I could attach supporting documents. From my experience using email support, it took up to four hours to receive a response, but the support agent was friendly and knowledgeable.
Overall, I have scored customer service a 8/10 in my Gemini Prediction ratings, as the feedback is detailed and accurate, even though you may have to wait a while for a response.
That brings my review to a close, and overall, I liked what I found. For a new platform, there is a lot to like, including diverse markets for prediction trading and an informative Help Center. Mobile prediction trading is also top-notch, with the Gemini Predictions app making it easy to buy and sell predictions while out and about.
Of course, there is some room for improvement, and one of the main limitations right now is the lack of prediction trading welcome offers. I hope that new user promos are released in the coming months for new traders that award some prediction trading credits.
Just remember to always be responsible when trading predictions at Gemini Predictions. Incorrect predictions settle for $0, meaning any money you spent buying into that position is lost. Never trade predictions with money you can’t afford to lose.
