Everything you need to know about Stake Flip

In 2025 Stake.us has already had some awesome game releases like its Pump and Cases titles, but I think Stake Flip is easily my favorite addition. The basic premise of the game is incredibly simple, but I was surprised at the complexity and strategy that it offers and I’ve given a basic table summary below:

The basic premise - it’s coin flipping time!

Stake Flip is essentially a 50/50 coin flip game and for each round, you have to choose between heads or tails. I have always been a huge fan of these types of games and I always play them when they are available at sweepstakes casinos.

The game features the same relatively basic and no-fuss design as other Stake Originals games, and if you’re looking for fancy graphics or an awesome soundtrack - this isn’t the game for you. What it does deliver is fast-paced, round-based coin flipping action and the potential for some cool strategies.

How to play - is it heads or tails?

I love how simple Flip is to play but there is an additional element compared to other coin games I’ve played. Oftentimes you only get one coin flip per round, however, with Stake Flip, whenever you pick correctly, you get the chance to either flip again or cashout. If you flip again and pick correctly again your potential prize multiplier increases. To play the game you can follow the below steps:

1. Enter your Gold Coin or Stake Cash amount for the round.
2. Choose heads or tails.
3. Click the play button and watch the coin flip animation.
4. If you pick wrong, you lose.
5. If you pick right, you can either hit the cash out button or choose to flip again.
6. Rinse and repeat.

That’s it! Stake.us states that there is a true 50/50 chance each round for heads or tails, and the RTP is 98.00% which is one of the highest out of all of the Stake.us games.

Stake Flip strategies

The main strategy I’ve found with Flip is balancing risk and reward from each successive coin flip you make. You have to consider this - each time you make a successive flip, you are increasing your chances of losing. HOWEVER, the odds aren’t cumulative - so just because you picked correctly for the first time, it doesn’t mean you have a reduced chance of picking right for the second round - for that next round the odds are reset to 50/50 again.

How I see it, is that there are three ways you can play this game:

1. Go for a single coin flip every round and always cashout after your first flip.
2. Try for a couple of coin flips each round for a slightly better prize but more risk.
3. Try for as many coin flips as possible each round for a high-risk, high-reward strategy.

Also, concerning whether you pick heads or tails. Because of the 50/50 chance for each round, it really doesn’t matter if you pick heads or tails. I personally just stick with heads every time - it shouldn’t make any difference as there is always a 50% chance that you can be right or wrong.
