So, you’ve heard about CoinsBucks and want to see how it stacks up. You have come to the right place for an honest CoinsBucks review. I’ll leave no stone unturned as I explore the site and give you a rundown.

I’ll make one thing clear before we get into it, though: I don’t recommend CoinsBucks as a reliable or legitimate sweepstakes casino. Stick with me to find out exactly why my ratings are so low for this site and whether there’s anything the brand can do to redeem itself. Are you ready? Let’s crack on…

A quick intro to CoinsBucks

CoinsBucks opened its virtual doors in 2024 and has been operating as a sweepstakes casino ever since. I would usually start by introducing who owns the brand; however, there isn’t much information available, which is quite concerning. Right off the bat, there’s already a red flag.

Other than some decent casino-style games from top software providers, most of my CoinsBucks review experience left a lot to be desired. Those who decide to play here will be faced with Sweeps Coin redemption fees, some unknown game providers, and other issues that I just can’t ignore. Stick with me to find out where I can’t recommend our readers to play at CoinsBucks Casino, when there are many better options available.

CoinsBucks review: My experience with CoinsBucks

I’ll be honest, I quite like a minimalistic sweepstakes casino, as it reduces the visual noise and lets me enjoy playing games without the distractions. However, CoinsBucks has taken simplicity to a whole other level. You are left with basic menus and features. There aren’t many game filters either, which makes it a heavy task to find your favorite games.

As a result of poor features and navigation, you’ll find promotions at the top of the screen just floating into the abyss. Rather than a neat rotating menu, for example, the available bonuses have been left to their own accord - not exactly how I would design a homepage that’s meant to bring in new players. Furthermore, the sidebar is pretty much useless and doesn’t feature nearly enough buttons or links.

Is CoinsBucks legit?

For me to say that a sweepstakes casino is legit, I need to know who the owner is, at an absolute minimum. Sadly, CoinsBucks has decided to hide this information and keep it out of the public domain, which is never a good sign. In fact, it’s nothing short of shady, and I can never recommend a gaming site that behaves in this manner.

Another red flag is that CoinsBucks refers to itself as ‘Dollar Mills’ several times in the T&Cs. Did they copy the T&Cs from another site and forget to edit them correctly? Who knows! Either way, it’s not a great sign. Overall, when it comes to transparency, my CoinsBuck review just keeps throwing up red flags.

The best sweepstakes casinos have a dedicated responsible gaming page, but this doesn’t make an appearance on CoinsBucks. The lack of responsible gaming tools or resources just highlights how little the site wants to provide a safe gaming environment.

Examining the promotions at CoinsBucks

Can CoinsBucks redeem itself with its list of promotions and bonuses? I’m not convinced, but it’s worth a look. As it’s a sweepstakes casino, you won’t find any CoinsBucks no-deposit bonus codes, but there are no-purchase deals available.

After creating an account at CoinsBucks, new players are awarded a small welcome bonus of 8,000 Gold Coins and 3 Sweeps Coins. It’s applied to your balance instantly, so there’s some sort of positive at last! You won’t need to search for a CoinsBucks promo code, as it’s simply not required.

Purchasing Gold Coins is optional here, just like all sweepstakes casinos, so those who want an extra top-up can opt for a first-purchase bonus too. For $9.99, you can buy 100,000 Gold Coins and 14.99 free Sweeps Coins.

You can also claim a progressive daily bonus, which starts from 20,000 Gold Coins. As you return and rack up consecutive logins, your bonus will increase. By the time you get to day 7, you are on 100,000 Gold Coins and 0.3 Sweeps Coins.

Unfortunately, I didn’t find a mail-in bonus, which is illegal. All sweepstakes casinos must legally provide players with an AMOE, but CoinsBucks must think that it’s above the US sweepstakes law, as there isn’t one to be found. To be honest, you need a postal address for the company to claim this type of reward, so no wonder there isn’t one, as the brand clearly doesn’t want to be discovered.

Is the gaming library any good at CoinsBucks?

The list of casino-style games is the main event at any sweepstakes casino. After all, it’s the games that you are after when it comes down to it. At CoinsBucks, there is a collection of 600+ games, which is mostly made up of slots. However, you will find a limited number of live dealers and bingo games.

While some of the games have been created by top software providers like ICONIC21, I did find some obscure ones. For instance, S777, which I couldn’t find anywhere online.

If you want some recommendations for the types of games available here, I managed to unearth a few recognizable titles, such as Gates of Olympus, Sugar Rush 1000, and Big Bass Splash. In the mini games collection, there’s also a selection of Mines, Dice, Limbo, Keno, and Plinko, just to name a few.

While the collection of games appears to be decent, it’s not quite what it seems. I was surprised to see how high the minimum play limits were. For example, Cleocatra requires a minimum of 1,000 Gold Coins. This will result in players burning through their balances fairly quickly, pushing people into considering buying more Gold Coins.

While it’s nice to have GC packages available as an option, no one likes to feel pressured or pushed into it. But with your balance not lasting very long at all, what is the alternative? You either buy more Gold Coins or you wait.

Payments & redemptions: CoinsBucks charges fees

Players can opt to purchase a bundle of Gold Coins for an extra boost, if they wish. If you decide to go for this, you will need to know what types of payment methods are available. Thankfully, I found some decent options - PayPal, Apple Pay, Visa, and Mastercard. While there are some solid options, I don’t appreciate the CoinsBucks approach to purchases.

While players can pick between a range of Gold Coin bundles, they have purposely hidden the cheaper options within the more expensive packages. This has no doubt been done by design, so you go for a higher package than you may have wanted.

When it comes to redeeming Sweeps Coins for prizes, there’s a standard 1x playthrough requirement, which doesn’t raise any eyebrows. There’s also a minimum redemption amount of 50 Sweeps Coins, which is decent. However, the fees are extortionate. For each Sweeps Coin redemption, you are looking at paying a 3% fee and an additional $0.50 charge.

Decent customer support at CoinsBucks

Next up in my CoinsBuck review, I looked into the customer support channels to test out how they deal with queries and complaints. I discovered a live chat service, which is operated by real humans. When I tested the live chat, I was connected with a live agent after 15 minutes, which is considerably slow for this type of channel. After all, players use live chats for instant responses. However, the slow responses made sense once I discovered that this was the full range of support channels. With everyone being funneled into one channel, it’s no wonder you have to wait.

Furthermore, I didn’t come across an FAQ page, email support, or telephone hotline. Seemingly, the only way of reaching the team is via live chat. While most players tend to prefer live chat, the lack of other channels is worrying. CoinsBucks could cut off the live chat, leaving players without any other means of contact. No email, no postal address, nothing.

Conclusion: Is CoinsBucks any good? I reckon not!

As we get to the end of my CoinsBucks review, I can’t help but think back to all the poor features I have encountered. With a lack of transparency, hidden ownership, fees on SC redemptions, and unknown software providers, I can’t recommend CoinsBucks as a safe or legitimate sweepstakes casino.

If you end up creating an account here and run into any issues, the customer support is practically non-existent. Granted, there is a live chat service, but this is the only access you have to anyone at CoinsBucks. What happens if this line gets cut off? You are left out to dry with no help.

Not all hope is lost, as I will keep checking back on things at CoinsBucks to see if they make any improvements. While I’m not holding my breath, I haven’t lost all hope. CoinsBucks will need to pretty much re-build the site from scratch, but it’s not impossible. If there are any adjustments, I’ll be sure to update you right here.
