Yu-Gi-Oh! brings back a lot of nostalgia for everyone. Now, you can still enjoy the franchise thanks to online card rip sites. At the top sites, you can pull digital Yu-Gi-Oh! cards and even ship physical items to your home. Below we highlight the top Yu-Gi-Oh! card ripping sites and explain how they work.
When we searched online card rip sites, we found many digital TCG cards. However, only a few sites offer Yu-Gi-Oh! collectibles. Two of these brands are Phygitals and Slabz. In our experience, the best aspects of each site are the unique ways to collect authenticated cards.
When using Phygitals, there are two ways to get Yu-Gi-Oh! items: pack openings and the marketplace. Slabz does things a little differently. There is no dedicated Yu-Gi-Oh! hobby boxes. Instead, you would have to search the marketplace for some Dark Magician graded cards.
Check out the table below for details on where you can find Yu-Gi-Oh! collectibles at each site:
| Online card rip site | Where to find Yu-Gi-Oh! collectibles? |
|---|---|
| Phygitals | Pack openings, marketplace |
| Slabz | Marketplace |
Phygitals does not have an exclusive welcome reward for new users. However, there are some promotions, such as referral rewards and leaderboard competitions. We also noticed an XP bar on our account, but the VIP program is not yet active.
We enjoyed using Phygitals as there are various packs to open. The main ones include Pokémon, One Piece and Sports packs. However, we also noticed some Yu-Gi-Oh! packs as well.
Currently, you can purchase a Rookie Pack for $25 and a Pro Pack for $100. Both of these booster packs have a 85% buyback offer, and there are several PSA 10 Yu-Gi-Oh! graded items.
Another nice feature with Phygitals is the marketplace. You can bid directly for other collectors’ cards. For example, there is a 2020 Yu-Gi-Oh! PHRA-Phantom Rage EN046Tri-Brigade Ferrijit the Barren Blossom 1st Edition-Starlight Rare PSA 10 on the marketplace. The seller is asking for $44,480. FYI, you may bid lower, and your offer will remain valid for up to a month.
Like Phygitals, there is no sign up reward for new users on Slabz. The good news is that there are some perks for existing collectors.
One of the best promotions is the VIP program. When you deposit and open packs, you accumulate reward points. These are used to climb the various tiers. Each tier gives you one bonus pack opening. You first unlock a $25 bonus pack on the first VIP tier. The biggest prize is a $2,500 bonus pack for the highest VIP tier.
At the time of writing, you cannot open any Yu-Gi-Oh! hobby packs. Instead, you have to use the newly launched marketplace to find Yu-Gi-Oh! cards. Since there are no mobile apps, you can use the mobile website to browse the marketplace.
A bit of advice: the search tool is your friend! Use it to find Yu-Gi-Oh! items as it will save you a lot of time. When we visited the marketplace, we found several PSA Gem Mint 9 and 10 Yu-Gi-Oh! cards.
When we searched for the best card break sites with Yu-Gi-Oh! collectibles, we used a selection criteria. Our criteria critiqued potential mystery box platforms on the following features: legitimacy, bonuses, customer service, banking, and mobile options.
Here is a breakdown of each feature that any collector should evaluate:
From our research, we came across trusted sites and those that raised some red flags. Some of these red flags include missing shipments, hidden fees, and no transparency about pack openings. You should always avoid dodgy brands.
Reputable brands are upfront with everything. This includes clear terms and conditions on how shipments work and pull probabilities for pack openings. When you are looking for new brands, always read user reviews. By doing so, you can see firsthand what other collectors experienced while using different brands.
You should also evaluate the safety features before joining. We checked for password-secured accounts as well as collector verification checks. Both Phygitals and Slabz ranked high for legitimacy and safety. Thus, we recommend these platforms to fellow Yu-Gi-Oh! collectors.
We found that a few mystery box sites offer bonuses and promotions. However, as new brands enter the scene, some do offer rewards. These offers are generally available to both new and existing users. Common examples of mystery box promos include sign up bonuses, referral offers and VIP perks.
Before you can claim an offer, make sure you read the bonus terms. There must be clear and easy to understand terms and conditions. If there are any requirements for the rewards, they should be low and easy to meet.
For example, many sites will not allow you to withdraw your bonus funds immediately. You would first need to open packs. Thereafter, only after accepting a buyback offer can you withdraw those funds.
There must be responsive customer support, as it is common to have questions when using mystery box platforms. We noticed that, unlike Pokémon card rips, many other franchise collectibles are much harder to find. Yes, that also includes Yu-Gi-Oh! collectibles.
So, instead of wasting time and searching through every hobby box, it is best to speak to an agent. The top brands will provide several support options, including a live chat and email. Spend time testing all support channels, and evaluate whether the agents are friendly and knowledgeable.
We also suggest keeping an eye on the official social media channels. Many card break sites have a strong social media presence. Those that do answer followers’ questions, plus you will find occasional giveaways as well.
Trusted mystery box sites will have an encrypted banking platform. With a secure banking platform, you can access safe payment methods. Also, your private bank details and information will not be shared with third parties.
We found that many card rip sites accept both FIAT and cryptocurrency payments. Also, not many charge processing fees for using the banking platform. However, there may be network fees when using crypto. So, double-check the banking charges before funding your account. When withdrawing your funds, there must be speedy processing times and minimal fees.
We preferred to rip Yu-Gi-Oh! packs with our mobile device, as it was more convenient. There will be other collectors who share the same sentiments. Therefore, we expect card break sites to have mobile platforms as well as a desktop website.
The mobile platforms should include a dedicated app if available. A priority should be a mobile-optimized website. This must be mirrored to the desktop version and include the same features.
The pack reveal process needs to be enjoyable as well. Even with a smaller screen, do not settle for a subpar experience. We recommend checking the displays and seeing if anything is cut from your screen. Also, check for filtering options and if you can easily view all the pull probabilities beforehand.
Yu-Gi-Oh! card break sites allow you to open packs online from the comfort of your home. There is no need to go to a physical claw machine to pick up some booster packs.
We found two main types of card rip sites. Those that provide digital items and those with physical items. Digital Yu-Gi-Oh! collectibles mean that you will not receive that item, instead it is kept in your online collection. The value is solely in your online portfolio. With this portfolio, you can view your digital cards plus keep an eye on other collectors items.
Online mystery box sites with physical items allow you to ship your collectible to your home. When you pull an item and decide to keep it, then it is your physical possession. For example, if you pull a Legends of Blue Eyes White Dragon (LOB)-070 you can get this physical card delivered to your home address. It will be shipped in a protective sleeve, and you can then add it to your collection.
Now, not every item you pull will be a rare card. There will be some duds as well. If that happens, then you can sell the card back to the site. Platforms that have this feature refer to this activity as buyback. Usually, the buyback value is based on the Fair Market Value (FMV) of the ripped card.
The FMV is calculated based on the type of card and current industry prices. When we used Phygitals, we could sell cards back to the site for between 85% and 90% of the FMV. We observed some other sites offer higher buybacks, but on average, you will get offers of up to 90%.
From Blue Eyes White Dragon to Dark Magician and Red Eyes Black Dragon, there have been lots of memorable Yu-Gi-Oh! monsters. Pulling these iconic cards is possible at the best card rip sites.
However, as we found, there are not that many card break sites that have Yu-Gi-Oh! collectibles. Unlike Pokémon or One Piece, Yu-Gi-Oh! booster packs is not a dedicated franchise covered at most mystery box brands.
The good news is that through our research, we found two good choices. Phygitals has pack openings which allow you to enjoy that special animation reveal. While there are no reveals on Slabz, you can trade with other collectors and find some graded cards as well.
We did notice that these brands do not have live stream card breaks. So that social aspect is missing. But thanks to the marketplace, you are allowed to interact with others when purchasing their items.
Since both brands are accessible in the US, you can join with our banners. To pull your own items at Phygitals and Slabz, go ahead and sign up with the relevant links. Have fun and enjoy the experience of ripping some Yu-Gi-Oh! items!
Of course! Two of our recommended brands are Phygitals and Slabz. Both have some Yu-Gi-Oh! items that are available via booster packs or the marketplace. You can use the relevant banners to register with our suggested sites.
Yes. Yu-Gi-Oh! cards are graded and authenticated by major international grading companies. These include the Professional Sports Authenticator, Beckett Grading Services and Certified Guaranty Company.
Usually, there are four options for your pulls: keep, sell, ship, or trade. You can keep the cards in your online portfolio. If you do not like the card, you can sell it back to the site. Rare cards can be shipped to your home address. If you prefer, you can also add your card to the marketplace for trading with other collectors.
Not many brands have bonuses and promos for collectors. However, rewards at some sites may include welcome offers, referral bonuses, and leaderboard prizes.
