I was a little disappointed when I couldn't find an active Slabz promo code or a traditional welcome bonus. However, the platform does offer something useful: an 85% buyback guarantee on eligible cards sold back within 72 hours of opening a pack.
There are other rewards worth exploring, too. Slabz has a loyalty program, Tickets that can be used in arcade-style minigames, and referral incentives. I've looked into how these offers work, what you need to qualify, and the important terms to consider before purchasing your first pack.
Not currently. Slabz doesn't offer a traditional welcome bonus in the form of a complimentary pack, free credits, or a deposit match. I also couldn't find an active Slabz promo code that new collectors can use to unlock an additional signup reward.
What the platform offers instead is an 85% buyback guarantee for eligible cards sold back within 72 hours of being pulled. This means that if you open a pack and decide you don't want to keep the card, you can accept a buyback offer worth at least 85% of its current Fair Market Value (FMV).
Just keep in mind that the 85% applies to the individual card’s FMV, not to the total price you paid for the pack, and you have to sell the card within three days; otherwise, you’ll forfeit this guarantee. FMV is supplied by Collector Crypt, the brand’s partner that grades and keeps the physical card in their vault. For example, in a Pokémon $50 pack, the most common pulls have a value between $30 and $60, so the 85% minimum buyback would pay around $25 to $51 if you were to sell them.
Buyback is credited to your USDC balance that can be withdrawn after a quick verification step. You can use the buyback offer across all three big card categories on the platform. One Piece, Pokémon and sports. Every card behind the reveal is a legit graded slab, so the buyback applies to whatever category you chose.
Since there is no classic welcome bonus, all you have to do to make use of the buyback guarantee is sign up, purchase your first pack, rip it and decide whether or not you want to sell your card back to the platform. You can simply follow the steps I took during my Slabz review below:
Use the banners on this page to be redirected to the official Slabz website
Navigate to the top right corner of your screen and click on ‘Sign Up’ to initiate the registration
You can then choose to sign up with either your email address, your Google account, or by SMS. Depending on your chosen sign-up method, you’ll have to provide some additional information such as your name and your address
Verify your account by confirming the one-time passcode sent to your email or SMS
Choose your username
After your account is confirmed, head over to the Packz tab, pick a pack and pay by either debit card, Google Pay, Apple Pay, or USDC.
Open your pack, reveal your slab and decide whether or not you want to sell within 72 hours to take advantage of the 85% buyback guarantee.
Keep in mind that after the 72 hours have elapsed or after a card has been shipped to you, it’s no longer eligible for buyback.
Granted, the lack of a welcome bonus is a little disappointing, but I think the buyback guarantee in itself actually does have quite a lot to offer if you know how to use it right on this digital card rips site. Here are some tips to help you with this
The buyback guarantee only applies if you decide to sell back your card within 72 hours or less. Once this window elapses, your cards will no longer be eligible. If you’re undecided or just need a moment to think about things, it’s a smart idea to make a short note in your calendar so you don’t accidentally run over the three-day window.
Each pack you purchase also comes with some useful information on the possible contents of said pack. You can view this in the ‘What’s inside’ tab. Odds can also be found in the ‘How it works’ tab. So, before you blind buy hoping for a card that might not even be included in the set, take a few moments to browse these tabs to ensure you know exactly what you’re getting.
A $25 or $50 Pokémon pack gives you the card reveal, the buyback screen, and access to the vault. There’s no need to go all in if you just want to test the site, rip a few packs and see what happens. Only spend money you can reasonably afford to lose and set yourself personal limits to keep your spending under control.
Deciding to have any card shipped to your address automatically excludes you from using the buyback guarantee on this card. And since Slabz doesn’t have its own marketplace, if you then decide you want to sell your card further down the line, you’ll have to do so via third-party sites or privately. Also keep in mind that there will be shipping fees applicable, which are calculated by your location and the size of your order. It usually works out cheaper to ship several cards in one delivery, as you’ll only pay a lump sum in fees, so be sure to wait a little bit before you decide to ship anything.
Freak Mode gives you the ability to open 2 to 100 packs at once, which can end up pricier, yes. But it also automatically sells any common cards back to the platform, keeping only the truly valuable ones for which you can still decide what to do. It’s a fun way to use the platform beyond just single rips and definitely worth considering if you’re already planning on purchasing multiple packs anyway.
Outside of the buyback guarantee, there are a few extras that you can also take advantage of if you decide to stick around on the site:
When someone signs up via your unique Slabz referral code that you’ve sent them, you’ll receive one Ticket for every $50 they spend with a possible maximum of up to 200 Tickets. The brand also rewards you with Tickets when you buy packs. You collect Tickets worth 5% of the purchase value, so a Pokémon 50 pack for example returns 10 Tickets.
Tickets can be used in the Gamez section of Slabz. Here you’ll find mini games like Crackz, where you smash open a case to win a card, Knockz, where you go head to head against another player, and Elementz, a rock paper scissors style game.
Every new user is automatically enrolled at Rookie level, which doesn’t come with any special rewards. However, as you spend money on packs you climb the different tiers from Rookie to Platinum. Here’s a quick overview of what to expect.
| Tier | Total spend needed | Daily minimum spend | Top daily reward |
|---|---|---|---|
| Bronze | $5,000 | $1,000 | Pokémon 50 pack (4% chance) |
| Silver | $25,000 | $2,500 | Pokémon 250 pack (6% chance) |
| Gold | $100,000 | $7,000 | Pokémon 1000 pack (2% chance) |
| Platinum | $500,000 | $20,000 | Pokémon 2500 pack (1% chance) |
Slabz doesn't currently offer a traditional welcome bonus, and I couldn't find an active promo code providing free packs or signup credits. However, its 85% buyback guarantee is a useful feature for collectors who want the option to sell unwanted pulls back to the platform.
The offer remains available for 72 hours after opening an eligible pack, and the process is relatively straightforward. Just remember that the percentage applies to your card's current FMV, so you aren't guaranteed to recover 85% of the money spent on your pack. There are additional rewards to explore, too. Tickets can be used in the Gamez section, while the loyalty program offers opportunities to claim free packs and other prizes as you progress through its tiers.
Overall, I think Slabz offers a good selection of features for collectors interested in Pokémon, One Piece, other trading card games and sports cards.
No. Slabz doesn't currently advertise a generally available promo code or traditional welcome bonus. However, eligible collectors can use its 85% buyback offer after opening packs, while Tickets and VIP rewards provide opportunities to claim additional prizes.
Slabz offers at least 85% of an eligible card's current fair market value if you accept the buyback within 72 hours of opening your pack. The payment is based on the card's value, not the pack's purchase price.
Tickets allow you to play Crackz, Elementz, and Knockz in the Gamez section of Slabz. Win a game for you to receive a bonus pack. Any card you pull from this pack is yours to keep or sell.
