I didn't find any sort of OpenThatPack promo code or welcome bonus for this card rip platform. However, there's still plenty worth exploring, including tiered cashback and sellback rewards, a referral program and free shipping on qualifying card orders.
OpenThatPack also features a loyalty program that rewards you through tiered cashback and buyback bonuses. I'll explain exactly how that works, how to collect 5% on your friend's deposits, and how to qualify for the shipping on orders over $100. Keep reading to find out why this budget-friendly TCG platform is worth signing up for, even without a welcome offer!
Let’s cut straight to the chase. There isn’t a welcome bonus, so there isn’t a bonus code at OpenThatPack (OTP) either. I couldn’t find a bonus advertised, so I went ahead and signed up. After I didn’t receive anything, I messaged the support team to check, and they confirmed my suspicions.
Despite the lack of a new player bonus, OpenThatPack is actually a well-rounded card ripping site. It has several other benefits, including a loyalty program, referral rewards, and even no-cost shipping, which is pretty hard to come by these days! The registration process is also a piece of cake and requires minimal hassle. So, if you’re struggling to get started, read on to learn what you’ll need to do.
OpenThatPack has one of the quickest registration processes I’ve ever experienced, thanks to a one-click sign up. I signed up with my Google account, but it also works with Apple and MetaMask. Once I’d registered, I noticed I could also log in with a single click when returning to the platform. What’s more, you won’t even need to scour for promo codes to use here. Here’s how to go about it:
Tap the banners we have on this page to open the site
Enter your personal details
Complete sign up
Verify your account
Deposit funds using card, crypto, or PayPal
You’re ready to rip and ship!
It should be clear by now that there is no welcome bonus. So, at this point in my OpenThatPack review, it’s time to share the good news. Other bonus types do exist, and they’re pretty generous, too.
Every time you buy a pack, you receive a cashback bonus. Every time you sell a card back, you get a sellback bonus. These bonuses are calculated as a percentage, which increases as you climb loyalty levels. From what I can tell, these bonuses are the main active loyalty rewards right now. There isn’t a breakdown of additional perks unlocked at each level just yet. I get the impression that this is coming, so I’m eager to see how the loyalty program evolves. For now, the cashback and sellback are still worthwhile benefits.
| Level | Sellback bonus | Cashback bonus |
|---|---|---|
| Level 1 - 9 | 0% | 0% |
| Level 10 - 19 | 1% | 1% |
| Level 20 - 29 | 2% | 2% |
| Level 30 - 39 | 3% | 2.5% |
| Level 40 - 49 | 4% | 3% |
| Level 50 - 59 | 5% | 4% |
| Level 60 - 69 | 6% | 4.5% |
| Level 70 - 79 | 7% | 5% |
| Level 80 - 89 | 8% | 6% |
| Level 90 - 99 | 9% | 7% |
| Level 100 | 10% | 8% |
Not all card ripping sites offer referral rewards, so it’s good to see OpenThatPack leading the way. The Affiliate Programme, as it’s officially known, is open to anyone with an OTP account. You get access to your unique referral code instantly after signing up. Send it to your friends, family, and fellow card collectors, and if they register using your link, you’ll receive a lifetime 5% commission on all their deposits. It’s one of the best commission structures I’ve seen in the industry, especially right off the bat.
If the value of your cards is over 100 Credits ($100), you get complimentary shipping. OTP ships all orders with UPS Express, which typically takes 1-3 business days to deliver to most places in the mainland U.S. In my experience, most card rip sites charge a shipping fee, and sometimes even a handling fee that increases with the value of the card. So the fact that you can qualify for zero-fee shipping at OTP is a brilliant perk.
Just remember that shipping more than 50 bulk cards (common, uncommon, and rare cards in normal and reverse holofoil) will incur a $0.10 fee per card, from the 51st bulk card onwards. Other card types are fine, though.
This is taken from the brand’s official Terms and Conditions: OTP may make available a complimentary pack to eligible users. It goes on to say that this is part of its daily complimentary packs program. Unless otherwise stated, the packs contain standard base-set digital trading cards that represent physical cards, just like the other packs on the platform.
I haven’t come across where to claim this mysterious reward yet, so it looks like it’s not running at the moment. Who knows when the offer will be activated! It’s certainly worth keeping an eye out for. And you can always come back to this page as I will definitely update my review if this offer becomes available.
Also, according to the T&C, OpenThatPack may offer additional promotions related to collection achievements, loyalty levels, promotional rewards, seasonal events, collection milestones, and other incentive programmes. There’s no mention of whether an OpenThatPack promo code will be necessary or not. To be honest, the details here are a little vague. Despite that, I see this foreshadowing of possible future promotions as a positive sign.
The main thing you should be aware of when it comes to OTP promotions is how Site Credits work. When you deposit cash to OpenThatPack, it’s added to your balance as Site Credits. Cashback bonuses, buyback bonuses, and affiliate commissions are all paid in Site Credits, too.
You can use Site Credits to open packs, buy packs, and trade. However, Site Credits cannot be converted back to cash and withdrawn. They can only be spent or held on the OTP platform.
Other standard terms apply, like being over the age of majority in your state and agreeing to comply with the rest of the rules laid out in the official legal document. For example, if you take part in the affiliate programme and any sort of fraud, abuse, self-referrals, artificial traffic, or other prohibited conduct is identified, you may forfeit your commission. It’s all pretty standard stuff.
I suggest you take some time to read the T&C yourself. It’s not the most fun thing in the world, but it’s wise to know exactly what you’re agreeing to.
Summarizing what I’ve learned, you don’t need an OpenThatPack bonus code to claim any of the brand’s promotions. There isn’t a welcome offer, but there is a healthy referral commission. If you’ve got any friends who are into Pokémon, MTG, One Piece, or Riftbound, that could be far more rewarding than a welcome bonus anyway. The other main promotion is no-cost U.S. shipping for cards worth a total of $100 or more, so it’s worth waiting until you’ve got a good stack and withdrawing them all at once.
To take advantage of these promotions and make sure you’re ready to claim any new ones, click the OTP banners we have on this page and create your account.

No, at the time of writing, there is no welcome bonus when you join OpenThatPack.
