Will Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner Get Engaged This Year?

Kalshi’s newest ad campaign stars Timothée Chalamet, and one of the exchange’s buzziest personal-life markets happens to be about him too: whether he and Kylie Jenner will get engaged before this year is over.

For anyone new to the format, a broader look at prediction market sites is a useful starting point before narrowing in on any one contract.

Here’s what the market thinks about the likelihood of the celebrity couple making it official by the end of the year.

What the Market Is Pricing

The Kalshi market poses a simple yes-or-no question: whether Timothée Chalamet and Kylie Jenner will be engaged this year. It resolves by January 1, 2027, sitting under the platform’s “People” category.

Around the time Chalamet’s ad campaign broke in mid-June, Yes shares were trading near $0.31, pricing the probability of the couple getting engaged in 2026 at 31%. That is exactly the kind of real-money, real-time read on public sentiment Kalshi builds its culture markets to capture.

As of late August, the Yes contracts dropped to $0.28, which is slightly lower but still in line with the usual fluctuations. The pricing had swung between $0.20 and $0.30 over the course of the month, and it’s natural for it to go lower as we near the end of the year.

Why Chalamet Is Already a Kalshi Face

Chalamet’s connection to Kalshi is not incidental. The exchange put him front and center in a multi-million-dollar campaign launched June 16. It featured three spots built around odd, unexplained moments, rather than a hard sell, the kind of campaign designed to get people talking rather than to explain the product line by line.

The campaign certainly generated attention, with the unusual spots prompting discussion across entertainment and advertising coverage. The timing also created an obvious connection to Kalshi’s existing Chalamet-Jenner engagement market.

The Relationship Timeline Behind the Probability

The relationship itself has a well-documented timeline that helps explain why the market sits closer to a coin flip than a lock. Chalamet and Jenner started dating in 2023, went public together at a Beyoncé concert that September, and made their red carpet debut as a couple in Rome in May 2025.

By December, they were coordinating outfits at the Los Angeles premiere of Marty Supreme, and January’s awards season brought Chalamet’s most open public declarations yet at the Critics’ Choice Awards and the Golden Globes.

Some entertainment reports since have described the couple as practically living together, which is exactly the kind of signal that moves a market like this one.

Where This Fits in Kalshi’s Culture Markets

Celebrity relationship markets like this sit inside a wider category Kalshi has built out around culture, along with contracts on award shows, box office numbers, and other pop culture milestones.

Kalshi’s own culture prediction markets page is the more direct route for anyone who wants to see where this particular contract sits today, along with everything else the internet currently has an opinion on.
