Will MrBeast Release an Album This Year?

Most Kalshi traders agree that the chances of MrBeast releasing an album by the end of this year are slim to none, but there is much more to this prediction market.

The current probability stands at just 22%, representing a drop of six percentage points since the market launched on August 30. The numbers previously lingered at around 28%, hitting 30% for a brief time before eventually dropping to the current 22%.

Considering the recent shift, it is apparent that Kalshi traders are becoming increasingly skeptical that the YouTube personality and businessman will release an album before December 31, 2026.

MrBeast Teasing Potential Move Into Music After Lil Baby Collaboration

The market wasn’t born out of nowhere on Kalshi and other prediction market sites, but it came shortly after James Stephen Donaldson, better known as MrBeast, fueled speculation about his potential move into the music industry on his social media platforms. MrBeast has already had a brief stint in music and performed his own verse as MrLean in Lil Baby’s “Dead Fresh” remix.

Adding further fuel to the speculation, MrBeast asked his followers whether he should release an album, giving Kalshi and other culture prediction sites another potentially valuable prediction market.

While MrBeast has yet to confirm he is actually working on an album, some traders believe this is a legit possibility, especially following the Lil Baby collaboration and MrBeast’s appearance in a music video.

MrBeast initially found global success on YouTube, where he posts videos featuring large-scale giveaways and unique challenges. With over 515 million subscribers on YouTube alone, MrBeast remains one of the most influential individuals of his generation.

Following the exponential growth of his YouTube channel, MrBeast expanded his reach by launching MrBeast Burger and making his television debut with Beast Games.

Kalshi Traders Remain Skeptical About MrBeast Album

Kalshi traders currently give MrBeast just a 22% chance of releasing an album by the end of 2026, with the probability dropping six percentage points in the last few days.

Currently, the market’s trading volume is around $1,900, with the probability far from set in stone. The numbers are primarily affected by new information surrounding a potential album release, including MrBeast’s social media activity.

The implied probability could climb significantly higher with additional hints from MrBeast or another music collaboration, while continued silence could send it in the opposite direction, which is what’s happening right now. The market concludes on January 1, 2027, and Spotify will be used to verify the outcome.
