Free MLB Props Tuesday July 5, 2022

Mariners vs. Padres, 4:10PM ET

BET: Jake Cronenworth 1+ RBI (+180)

The Padres hitter looks primed for a big performance against Mariners pitcher Logan Gilbert who has given up 5 homers over his last three starts and could face some early inning pressure with a formidable opening lineup of Profar and Machado stacking the bases, setting it up for Cronenworth to drive home.

Mets vs. Reds, 6:40PM ET

BET: Pete Alonso 1+ RBI (-120)

The Polar Bear had a lukewarm July 4th last night, going 5 plate appearances before finally registering a hit late in the game against the Reds - but you can't keep a good player down. Pitching for Cincinnati will be the returning Nick Lodolo who hasn't thrown in the majors since April. The top of the New York line up is strong, and with Alonso usually fourth in the lineup, only a base hit will usually be enough for at least one run to come home.

Nationals vs. Phillies, 7:05PM ET

BET: Kyle Schwarber 1+ HR (+220)

It's been a week since Schwarber last went yard and he could go large again on Dinger Tuesday. As we outlined in our daily picks article, Nationals starting pitcher Paolo Espino (0-1, 2.80 ERA) will make his 5th start of the year after starting the season in the bullpen, but his numbers as a starter have been far less impressive so far. He's given up 4 home runs in his last 3 starts. He could be a sitting duck for someone like Schwarber.
