Our first pick on Thursday comes from the afternoon game between the Giants and the Cardinals, and we are locking in Joc Pederson. Pederson has only tow home runs on the year, but throughout the course of his career he has been one of the more reliable deep threats in Major League Baseball. He faces Miles Mikolas today, who he has eight plate appearances in his career against, but has yet to take deep for home run. DimersBOT projects Pederson to hit a HR 19.7% of the time today, good for a 4.3% edge on the sportsbooks.

Rays vs. White Sox, 7:10PM ET

LEG 2: Isaac Paredes 1+ HR (+700) with DraftKings

Paredes started the year off with a bang, homering three times in his first ten appearances. He has followed that up with 11 straight homer-less games, but we think there's a good shot that changes tonight. Paredes faces White Sox starter Dylan Cease, who he has faced nine times in his career and he sees the ball well off Cease's arm, drawing a walk 33% of the time. Cease is a strong pitcher, but he gives up the occasional home run flurry, with 36 home runs give up over the last two seasons. Paredes has the bat to take advantage, and DimersBOT believes he has a 16.3% chance to go yard tonight.
