Three-Team Boston Sports Parlay for Friday, April 21 - Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins

Three-Team Boston Sports Parlay for Friday, April 21 - Celtics, Red Sox, Bruins

It’s a great time of the year in sports. The NBA Playoffs are underway, the NHL’s quest for the Stanley Cup is heating up and the MLB season is in full swing. We even recently introduced you to the world of Professional MiniGolf. Yeah, you heard us. There are plenty of edges, opportunities and more than a bit of fun to be had wagering on these events, and with our help, some money to be won as well.

Friday night offers us a special opportunity to capitalize on all those things with each of the three in-season Boston teams seeing some action. Sadly, all three teams are away from home, leaving the Boston area a little quieter than usual, so hopefully this will give the Fenway faithful a little something to fill that void.

To celebrate this trifecta of Bostonian road battles, we’re shipping up a little three-leg parlay featuring one bet or prop from each game. And with sports betting celebrating its recent Massachusetts rollout, this is a perfect opportunity for Boston sports fans to cheer just a little harder on Friday night.

First things first, you can’t get in on the action if you don’t have an account at the sportsbooks available to you. Massachusetts bettors have a wide range of books available, each with an exclusive signup offer to take advantage of. DraftKings is hooking new users up with $150 in bonus bets for placing their first $5 wager, while BetMGM will give you up to $1,000 back if your first bet loses. Be sure to check our Best Sportsbooks page to see every promotion you can grab.

How did we build this parlay?

To cook up this parlay, we’re utilizing the same completely free tools we have available to you on Dimers. Between our Best Bets, Best Props, Trends and Game Predictions, we’re able to use the data from the 1000s of simulations our model runs to isolate the best plays on each slate.

We can see the probability of any bet hitting, as well as the best odds available and our edge over the books. That edge is the discrepancy our model has found between how likely a particular bet is to hit and the probability implied by the books’ odds.

You can also use our Parlay Picker tool to generate our model’s best parlay based on the parameters you choose. Since we’re looking at three specific games, we won’t be using the Parlay Picker here, but it’s a wonderful tool, especially for finding that extra edge to hit those big payouts.

Celtics-Bruins-Red Sox Three-Game Parlay (+1142)

What should we call this thing anyway? The Boston Three (Leg) Party? The Wicked Ticket? We’re working on it. Let’s check out each piece of the parlay below:

NBA – Celtics @ Hawks Game 3 7:00PM ET

THE BET: Jayson Tatum Over 4.5 Assists (+130 on DraftKings)

Our model projects Jayson Tatum to just hit this number with 5.1 assists. We're getting a 10.1% edge over the books' odds, however, and that's a great advantage in a notoriously sharp NBA props market. He had six assists in Game 2 and averaged 4.6 on the year. With a fair price closer to -110, this is some excellent value for our first leg.

NHL – Bruins @ Panthers 7:30PM ET

THE BET: Brad Marchand Anytime Goalscorer (+215 on DraftKings)

There's nothing quite like the thrill of the Stanley Cup Playoffs. If you bet on the Bruins this year, you were likely feeling the rush all season, as they skated and shot their way to an NHL record 65 wins in the regular season. Veteran Brad Marchand has been a critical part of their success, netting the second-most points on the team in the regular season. He's scored in each of the Bruins' postseason games against the Panthers so far, and our model gives him a hefty 37.1% chance to light the lamps for the third game in a row.

MLB - Red Sox @ Brewers 8:10PM ET

THE BET: Red Sox +1.5 (-140 on DraftKings)

The Red Sox enter tonight's game with the Brewers having covered this number in six of their last seven. With the third-highest scoring offense in MLB, Boston bats have shown the ability to heat up in any given game. The Brewers have a stingy defense, so runs could come at a premium, but our model gives the Red Sox a 59% chance to cover the Run Line. We expect them to keep it a close one and are locking them in as our third and final leg.

To summarize the bet, we’ve got three legs for a total of +1142 odds over on DraftKings

  • Jayson Tatum Over 4.5 Assists (+130)
  • Brad Marchand Anytime Goalscorer (+215)
  • Red Sox +1.5 (-140)

There you have it sports bettors. The Beantown Smacker Parlay. Don’t forget to lock in this bet at DraftKings where you’ll get $150 in bonus bets after placing your first $5 wager.
