NBA Summer League Best Bets and Parlay for Friday, July 14, 2023

NBA Summer League Best Bets and Parlay for Friday, July 14, 2023

NBA Summer League is coming down to the wire, we cashed our parlay yesterday and we are here to determine the best bets you can make on Friday night! Teams don't cut down nets for a summer league championship, but it can often be the start of something special and a sign of things to come. Some franchises take the summer more seriously, and it's important to identify that before betting. These are our top three favorite bets for tonight in the NBA Summer League.

Mavericks vs. Pacers, 7:00PM ET

BET #1: Mavericks +3.5 (-110) with DraftKings

We got bit by Indiana in Wednesday's article, after they surprise-rested their backcourt of Bennedict Mathurin and Andrew Nembhard before losing to Oklahoma City. Given that development, it's hard to understand this line, as the Mavericks sit at 2-1 and have not yet rested any of their most talented players, such as Jaden Hardy, Dereck Lively, O-Max Prosper and more. We don't know for sure what will happen with lineups on Thursday night, but it feels like the wrong side is favored here.

Heat vs. Nuggets, 8:30PM ET

BET #2: Nuggets +5 (-110) with DraftKings

How about another underdog? The Denver Nuggets are one of the most surprising winless teams of the summer, s Hunter Tyson looks like a breakout star, and Julian Strawther, Jalen Pickett and Collin Gillespie are all proven winning role players. But unlike other winless orgs like the Charlotte Hornets, Denver has been incredibly competitive in this Summer League run, losing by exactly five points twice and seven points once. They'll be hungry to avoid another loss tonight, and Miami doesn't have much left to prove. Take the points.

Pistons vs. Spurs, 9:00PM ET

BET #3: Pistons -4 (-110) with DraftKings

While stars like Victor Wembanyama and Jaden Ivey won't be suiting up tonight, the Pistons' Summer League group has strutted their stuff without their big guns. Ausar Thompson looks like a two-way force on the wing, and paired with the clutch rookie guard Marcus Sasser, Detroit was able to erase a 17-point deficit en route to a come from behind victory in their last contest. We believe they keep their winning ways rolling, marking the final leg of our +596 Summer League parlay for Friday night. Let's go far back to back winners, shall we?
