Bettors Like The Raiders Over Jaguars in Tonight's Hall of Fame Game
Last updated: | Published:For the first time since the Los Angeles Rams hoisted the Lombardi Trophy in February, bettors will get a glimpse of NFL action on Thursday when the Jacksonville Jaguars take on the Las Vegas Raiders in the annual Hall of Fame Game.
Action at the sportsbooks BetRivers.com and PlaySugarhouse.com can be summed up in two words: Raider Nation, the moniker for passionate Las Vegas followers.
The Raiders, given a 2.1% chance of winning the Super Bowl have gone from 1.5-point underdogs to 2.5-point favorites, a flip largely explained by the news that Jags QB Trevor Lawrence and RB Travis Etienne won't play in Canton, Ohio.
On the moneyline, Las Vegas stands at -139, with Jacksonville at +114.
Meanwhile, BetMGM, with the Raiders at 1.5 favorites, reports 76% of the bets coming in on Las Vegas and the Raiders getting 81% of the handle.
BetMGM also reports that the Over/Under total points line, which opened at 33.5 and has now dropped to 30.5, has seen 65% of bets come in on the Under and a whopping 78% of the handle.

Favorites are 4-1 straight-up and 3-2 against the spread in the last five Hall of Fame Games.
The Over/Under, which opened at 31.5, has come down to 30.5. Six of the last 10 Hall of Fame Games have failed to hit Over 30.5, with an average total of 29.4 points in the 10-game stretch. The largest bet through early Wednesday afternoon was for $2,500 on the Raiders (-1.5) at -144.
