The Marlins have had the run of things so far this week in Oakland with two consecutive wins in relatively easy fashion against a listless Athletics outfit. They reconvene today for the third and final time the men from Florida a good chance to make it a clean sweep. Jesús Luzardo (3-5, 3.44 ERA) has been a lot better for Miami this year than his numbers would suggest, consistently keeping the opposition scoring down with his last 4 starts going under the sportsbook's total. He needs run support from his hitters, and he should get it today with A's pitcher Cole Irvin (6-11, 3.32 ERA) going through a little bit of a rough patch with 4 consecutive losses as a starter.

Blue Jays vs. Red Sox, 7:10PM ET

Sometimes there are starting pitchers that pop up on the probable starter lists that just make your spidey senses tingle, and for me that guy is José Berrios (9-5, 5.39 ERA) of the Blue Jays. Berrios will be back in action tonight against the Red Sox and Brayan Bello (0-3, 8.47 ERA) - a leaky pitcher in his own right. These are two teams that love to blast each other with 5 of their last 6 games going over the total. It's set up again this evening.

Diamondbacks vs. Royals, 8:10PM ET

Arizona were able to clean up the Royals bullpen and make light work of last night's game after a relatively quiet start, eventually running out 7-3 winners. That Kansas City performance was indicative of where they're at right now - not great on offense and a bullpen that is awful, with a 5.13 reliever ERA over their last 10 games. The DBacks enter tonight's match up with another advantage in the starter's duel with Zac Gallen (9-2, 2.78 ERA) in some electric form. Diamondbacks to keep rolling.
