Chargers vs. Chiefs

BET: Chiefs to cover -7 (Best odds -115)

The Chiefs look likely to play a lot of high-scoring games this season, particularly early on, as their new-look defense gets accustomed to playing with each other. But in saying that, their offense looks as good as ever, basically seeming like when they want to score, they can.

Mahomes and co. will be disappointed with last week's loss to the Ravens and should bounce back and win this one by at least a touchdown.

Buccaneers vs. Rams

BET: Rams to cover +2.5 (Best odds -110)

📈 57% probability

The Rams actually started the week as -1.5 favorites and now find themselves as underdogs to the tune of around a field goal. This game could go down to the wire and, with the Rams playing in front of their home fans, we like them to cover.

If you're looking for slightly more value, you could take the Rams at the moneyline, but the smarter play here (considering who's leading the opposition offense) is to take them with the points at the spread.

Packers vs. 49ers

BET: Packers to cover +3.5 (Best odds -115)

📈 56% probability

I originally came into this game wanting to back the 49ers but I think this line should be closer to a pick ‘em. The San Francisco 49ers are coming to this game with two fairly impressive wins against the Lions and the Eagles. The Lions was definitely an expected win but after a strong week one showing from the Eagles plenty of people were doubting the 49ers. This team is built around running the ball, controlling the clock, and playing good defense, this isn’t a team that’s built to cover large spreads. 

It’s hard to get a great read on the Packers right now, they were blown out by the Saints in week one then took care of business against the Lions in week two. Aaron Rodgers won MVP last year and is still one of the best quarterbacks in the league, but this team hasn’t been in any real competition yet. Overall if I had to select a money line it would be the 49ers but with some sportsbooks offering +3 1/2 for the Packers, I think that’s a little bit too good to be true. It’s easy to doubt what we’ve seen from this team so far but they have a proven track record of success and I think they can cover this number.
