NBA Odds
NBA odds today put the prices for every NBA game in one place, making it easier to compare what different sportsbooks are charging. NBA betting lines cover the three main markets: moneyline, spread, and total.
The best NBA odds and betting lines for tonight’s games
From opening night through the NBA Finals, there are betting opportunities across the league throughout the season. With 30 teams playing an 82-game regular season, the NBA schedule creates a steady stream of matchups and markets to compare.
On busy nights, several games can tip off within the same window, with different sportsbooks posting different prices on the same moneyline, spread, and total. Comparing those numbers side by side makes it easier to see where the best available price is before you place a bet.
That's what our NBA odds are built for. The table brings sportsbook prices together for every game, highlights the best available number, and lets you filter the lines and markets that matter to you. When you're ready to explore further, you can use our NBA Predictions and Picks for the main betting market probabilities for every game, or check out our NBA Best Bets for our shortlist of +EV markets.
How Dimers finds the best NBA odds across sportsbooks
The table puts each NBA game next to the prices available from different sportsbooks. For every matchup, you can compare the moneyline, point spread, and total, then click through to the sportsbook offering the price you want. That makes an NBA odds comparison much easier than opening several betting apps and checking each game one by one.
The best-price marker follows a different rule for each market. For the moneyline, it marks the highest odds available. For spreads, it marks the most favorable line available, with the highest odds used when multiple books have the same line. For totals, the over uses the lowest line available, while the under uses the highest line available. Where the line is the same, the higher odds take priority.
You can filter by line, state, and odds type, then click through to the sportsbook attached to the price. Availability depends on your location and the markets offered there.
Understanding NBA odds: How to read NBA betting lines
NBA odds are prices, not probabilities. They tell you what a sportsbook will pay relative to the amount you risk, while probability tells you how often an outcome would need to happen for a price to break even.
When reading the NBA betting lines on this page, there are a few key terms to understand:
- Market: The type of bet you're looking at, such as moneyline, spread, or total.
- Line: The number attached to the market. For example, a spread might be -6.5, while a total could be set at 221.5 points.
- Odds: The price attached to a bet. The odds determine how much profit you can make based on your stake.
- Probability: The percentage represented by the odds. This is the implied probability of an outcome based on its price. Looking at probability can make it easier to compare prices across sportsbooks.
- Consensus: The average line, odds, and probability across the sportsbooks tracked by Dimers. It gives you a quick view of how the broader market is pricing the matchup.
Remember, sportsbooks build a margin into their odds so they can make a profit over time. This margin is known as the "vig," short for "vigorish," or the "juice." Because sportsbooks can offer different prices on the same bet, comparing NBA odds can help you find a more competitive price.
NBA odds formats: American, decimal, and probability
Dimers lets you view NBA odds in American, decimal, or probability format, so you can choose the display that makes the most sense to you.
- American Odds: This is the standard format at U.S. sportsbooks. A minus sign indicates a favorite, while a plus sign indicates an underdog. A negative number shows how much you need to stake to win $100 in profit, while a positive number shows how much profit you would make from a $100 bet. If the Boston Celtics are -155 and the Miami Heat are +125, a $100 bet on Boston returns about $164.52, including $64.52 in profit. A $100 bet on Miami returns $225, including $125 in profit.
- Decimal Odds: Decimal odds show your total return for every $1 you stake, including your original bet. If the Celtics are 1.65, a $1 bet returns about $1.65, giving you about 65 cents in profit. If the Heat are 2.25, a $1 bet returns $2.25, giving you $1.25 in profit. To calculate your potential total return, multiply your stake by the decimal odds.
- Probability: The probability view shows the implied probability represented by each price. For example, -110 implies a break-even probability of 52.4%. You can also see the consensus probability, which provides a quick reference for how the broader market is pricing an outcome. Comparing a sportsbook's probability with the consensus gives you another way to assess the price you're being offered.
You may also see NBA Vegas odds used to describe sportsbook prices. The terminology varies, but the underlying concept is the same: odds are prices, while implied probability shows the break-even rate represented by those prices.

NBA betting lines for moneyline, spread, and total
The three markets you'll see throughout the table are moneyline, spread, and total.
- Moneyline: You are betting on which team wins the game, regardless of the margin. Favorites usually have negative odds, while underdogs have positive odds.
- Spread: The sportsbook gives one team a points handicap. If the Celtics are -6.5 against the Heat, Boston needs to win by at least seven points for the Celtics spread bet to cash. A Heat +6.5 bet wins if Miami wins outright or loses by six or fewer points.
- Total: This is the combined number of points scored by both teams. With a total of 221.5, an over bet needs at least 222 combined points, while an under bet needs 221 or fewer.
Prices can differ from one book to another even when the underlying market is the same. For sportsbook-specific information, see our reviews of the best US sportsbooks.

How Dimers finds the best NBA odds across sportsbooks
Dimers brings the NBA betting market together in one place. For every game on the slate, the NBA odds table shows the matchup and consensus price, followed by the lines available from individual sportsbooks. A 🏆 marks the best available price, so you can quickly see which sportsbook is offering the most competitive odds.
You can customize the table to focus on exactly what you're looking for:
- Choose your market: Switch between moneyline, spread, and totals.
- Compare sportsbooks: See the lines and prices available from each sportsbook tracked by Dimers.
- Check the consensus: Use the consensus line, price, and probability as a quick reference for how the market is priced.
- Change the odds display: Switch between American odds, decimal odds, and probability.
- Filter by state: See the sportsbooks and betting options available in your state.
- Find the best price: Look for the 🏆 to quickly identify the best available price for a market.
The consensus probability gives you another reference when comparing prices. You can see how an individual sportsbook's price compares with the broader market, then consider that alongside the available lines when assessing a bet.
Whether you're checking one matchup or scanning the entire NBA slate, Dimers puts market context and sportsbook prices in one view, without having to check multiple books individually.
How to shop NBA lines and why they move
Shopping around only takes a few seconds when the numbers are side by side, and small differences can matter over a long betting season.
- Compare moneyline prices: A moneyline at -150 versus -135 gives you two different prices on the same outcome. If your goal is to make $100 in profit, the -150 price requires a $150 stake, while -135 requires $135.
- Check spread prices: A team listed at -6.5 -110 at one book and -6.5 -105 at another gives you the same point spread at two different prices. The -105 price requires less money to make the same $100 profit.
- Compare totals and lines: A 221.5 total at one sportsbook may become 222.5 at another. That half-point can matter because the final score has to land on one side of the number.
- Use consensus probability: Switch the table to the Probability view to see the implied probability represented by each price. The consensus probability gives you a market-level reference that you can use alongside individual sportsbook prices when assessing a bet.
NBA lines move when sportsbooks react to new information. Injury reports and late scratches are obvious triggers, but rest, back-to-backs, and betting volume can move prices too. The best number you find earlier in the day may not be the same number available later.

Your Questions Answered
What are NBA betting lines?
NBA betting lines are the prices sportsbooks post for NBA markets. The three main markets are moneyline, spread, and total. The moneyline covers the outright winner, the spread covers the margin between the teams, and the total covers the combined points scored. The NBA odds table puts all three next to each game so you can compare them across sportsbooks.
How do you read NBA odds?
NBA odds are prices. In American odds, a minus number marks the favorite and a plus number marks the underdog. For example, -150 means you risk $150 to make $100 in profit, while +125 means a $100 stake makes $125 in profit. The equivalent decimal prices are 1.67 and 2.25, respectively. Our NBA odds table also lets you switch to probability view to see the implied probability of each sportsbook's odds per NBA betting market.
What does -110 mean in NBA betting?
It's a common line you'll see in American odds. It means you risk $110 to win $100. The -110 price has a 52.4% break-even rate, meaning you need to win 52.4% of bets at that price to break even over time. The extra $10 is part of the vig, or the sportsbook's built-in margin.
Why do NBA odds move?
NBA odds move when sportsbooks respond to new information or changes in betting activity. Injury reports, late scratches, rest, and back-to-backs can change how a game is expected to play out, while betting volume can also push a price or line in one direction. That means the best price can sit at a different book later in the day.
Do the best NBA odds guarantee a win?
No. A better price changes how much you are paid if the bet wins. It does not change whether the underlying bet wins. Comparing prices is about getting the most favorable terms available, not removing the risk from the wager.
Which sportsbooks does Dimers compare?
Our NBA odds table compares the sportsbooks and other betting-market providers currently included in the feed. Availability varies by state and by the markets offered there. The exact options shown can therefore depend on your location.
How often are Dimers NBA odds updated?
Our NBA odds update multiple times an hour. Sportsbook prices can move when new information enters the market, so check the price at the sportsbook before placing a bet.
