Unlock data-driven NFL Week 9 best bets. Powered by Dimers Pro analytics to spot the sharpest prop edges and top Pick 'Em value.

Week 9 marks the final one of the first half of the NFL season. Only two teams are on a bye this week, which means as much NFL betting action as we've had since byes began in Week 5, from major storylines, the latest injuries and more, which means we're back with another look at the most notable angles from the weekly slate.
Between prediction markets opening a new way of sports trading and sportsbooks ramping up the promos, NFL betting is at an all-time high this season and we are here to make sure you don't miss a beat as we head into Week 9.
A mispriced line on a JSN TD was far too generous by the markets. We’ll take it ✅

That's where Dimers Pro comes in, fresh off another productive week across the Dimers Pro suite of NFL prediction tools, from a pair of undervalued Cardinals TD scorers to calling the early value on the AFC North-leading Steelers.
All season long, whether you're betting game lines with our best NFL bets, hunting a touchdown edge in our NFL player props, digging into our NFL player projections hub, or tracking Super Bowl futures, the Dimers model does the heavy lifting so you can bet based on data, not guesswork.
Find the narrative, check the data and let the numbers inside our NFL predictions do the rest while you sit back and take in every game this season.
Below, we break down the week's biggest storylines, our model's top spread and moneyline picks, and the players, markets and scenarios most worth your attention.
Three storylines to watch in Week 9
1. Falcons vs. Bengals resumes the international slate
Just when you thought we were done with the overseas games, it was simply a Halloween trick.
We're back in Europe as Falcons vs. Bengals kicks off early Sunday morning in Madrid. The Bengals narrowly escaped a shocking loss to the Titans, while the Falcons are getting as far away from the place where they allowed 300+ rushing yards and Michael Penix Jr. threw nearly as many picks as completions.
Our model has found early on value on the Bengals throughout this game, from a Moneyline edge at 63.8% and -160 for those willing to drink the juice, to a plus-money value on covering -3.5 at 51.3% and Ja'Marr Chase with an anytime TD edge.
2. Lamar Jackson out for the foreseeable future
You can hardly make this level of bad luck up.
On his first play after a multi-game absence, Lamar Jackson hit his hand awkwardly on an opponent during a pass attempt, injuring his thumb and potentially ending his season.
Backup QB Tyler Huntley left the game with a toe injury and we may see third-stringer Joe Fagnano start for Baltimore on a short turnaround as they play on TNF in Ravens vs. Jaguars.
Not great.
Expect a heavy dose of Derrick Henry, as much as they can get that going against the league's most formidable rushing defense, and a long day for the Ravens' passcatchers.
Henry's 52.6% TD probability would be the lowest so far in a game this season.
3. Benching in the Raiders backfield?
In one of Sunday's most bizarre storylines, Ashton Jeanty saw a mere 2 carries to Mike Washington Jr's 25, perhaps as a result of some midweek comments regarding the Jets' defense.
The Raiders coaching staff were as much the recipient of the message they tried sending, as Mike Washington plodded to a 3.3 YPC, and Jeanty still had the biggest play of the afternoon, a 45-yard catch and run, finishing as the team's second-leading receiver.
Our early projections say there may be some lasting effect, with Washington projected for 44.5 rushing yards to Jeanty's 30.9, while Jeanty retains the higher TD probability at 34.3% to Washington's 30.5%.
Keep an eye on this situation closer to Sunday, especially if you've got Jeanty in fantasy leagues.
Top picks against the spread in Week 9
These are the teams with the highest probability to cover the spread in their respective game this week.
They may not hold value, which is why you'll want to cross-reference with our NFL best bets - any spread picks with a betting edge will be identified there.
However, if you're looking to build NFL parlays with spreads, or make your choices in an NFL Pick 'ems league, these five teams are a good place to start.
Our closing lines have seen a stronger result than the early-week looks. As our predictions update throughout the week with injury news, line changes and more, check in closer to kickoff for our most updated insights.
- Packers +3 @ Patriots (55%)
- Vikings +3.5 vs. Bills (55%)
- Commanders +6 vs. Rams (54%)
- Texans -4.5 @ Chargers (52%)
- 49ers -10 vs. Raiders (52%)
Top 5 opening spreads season to date: 18-21

Who will win in NFL Week 9?
Here you'll find the five most likely outright winners this week. No spreads, no covering, and little betting value, just the five highest probabilities identified in our NFL predictions.
These are good teams to look at for weekly Survivor picks throughout the season, provided you haven't used one of them previously.
- 49ers 82% vs. Raiders
- Seahawks 81% vs. Cardinals
- Chiefs 79% vs. Jets
- Jaguars 78% @ Ravens
- Lions 72% @ Dolphins
Dimers' Sweet Spots to look for in Week 9
The "Sweet Spot" is a Dimers Pro feature that identifies the specific betting markets and edge ranges where our model is returning a positive profit over the course of the season.
These signals are the first to look for when researching a weekly NFL slate, as they show where our model has proven to be most accurate.
We now have ten individual markets across game lines and props featuring positive ROI, with the highest overall returns featured below:
Players to watch in Week 9
These are players who need to be on your radar, whether in fantasy leagues or for player prop betting.
Last week, we cashed TD value on Josh Allen and called out Kyren Williams as a TD target despite Blake Corum's encroachment on his workload, with both of them finding the end zone.
1. RB Jonah Coleman (Broncos)
It was a full-on backfield takeover in Denver, and looks to stay that way heading into Broncos vs. Panthers.
Rookie RB Jonah Coleman scored in his opening game this season before missing a month of action. He returned with 9 carries for 54 yards last week, before seeing 11 carries and 5 targets in Week 8 , tallying over 100 total yards and a touchdown, including a 51-yard catch-and-run.
Denver has been craving a more efficient running game behind multiple backs averaging under 4.0 YPC and Coleman showed the explosiveness they've been missing.
He projects to lead the backfield in rushing, receiving, and in TD probability against the soft Panthers rushing defense, which has allowed 12 touchdowns on the ground so far this season.
2. WR Denzel Boston (Browns)
The Browns rookie WR is second in the odds for Offensive Rookie of the Year, hauling in a season-high 6 catches on a season-high 11 targets vs. the Steelers.
He didn't do much with them, with just 37 receiving yards, but it was a step in the right direction after catching just 4 of 13 targets across his previous two games.
The Browns get a relatively soft passing defense in Browns vs. Saints this week, ranking about middle of the league in terms of yards and passing TDs allowed.
Boston projects behind fellow rookie WR KC Concepcion in yards with 40.9, but well ahead in TD probability at 32.6% to Concepcion's 19.5%, and he gets an early betting edge for his first TD since Week 5.
3. TE Isaiah Likely (Giants)
One of this year's most enjoyable breakouts has been TE Isaiah Likely, reuniting with HC John Harbaugh in New York and living up to his TE1 hype.
He's on pace to crush Jeremy Shockey's TE receptions (74) record for the Giants, but we're waiting to see his connection with new starter J.J. McCarthy.
In McCarthy's first start, Likely saw just 4 targets and caught 2 passes for 12 yards, all season lows.
He's operated as the Giants' No. 2 passing option all season, and our model predicts that to get back to normal in Week 9 as the Giants come off their bye week.
Likely gets a big TD edge against the Eagles, with a 41% chance against +230 odds on Fanatics. Philly's passing defense ranks 27th in the NFL and has allowed 12 scores so far this season.
