DraftKings “King of the Court” picks for $5 Million Jackpot on Wednesday, October 21
DraftKings' fan-favorite King of the Court promotion returns for the new season, with a bonus bet pool of $5 Million up for grabs if you can pick tonight's PRA leader.

The NBA betting season is underway, and DraftKings’ King of the Court promotion is back, rewarding those who can make the most out of Dimers' NBA Projections. To get things started with a bang, opening week comes with a $5 million jackpot pool, five times the usual prize.
To compete, opt in to the DraftKings promo to claim your King of the Court token. If your player finishes the night as the NBA’s leader in Points + Rebounds + Assists (PRA), you get an even share of $5 million in Bonus Bets, split amongst all users who selected that player, even if your original prop doesn’t cash.
Last year's bonus bet returns ranged from $20 to as high as $2,542.
Five players returned over $1,000 in bonus bets, and all season long, only 7 players who won the promo were projected outside of our Top 10 highest PRA totals that night.
No one won more than Luka Dončić, who wore the crown six times.

This season, the upgraded Dimers NBA Projections Hub in the Dimers App gives you more than a projected PRA total.
You can see each player’s projection next to the consensus sportsbook line, how often he’s cleared tonight’s number lately, and how he’s performed against tonight’s opponent. That’s what you need to narrow down a King of the Court shortlist.
Our projections worked well for this promo last season.
59% of King of the Court winners came from inside our Top 5 PRA projections that night, and 79% came from our Top 5.
King of the Court Picks Today, Wednesday, October 21
Each week, we’ll highlight some of Dimers’ top-projected players along with a couple of longshots, as a sample of what you’ll find in the Dimers NBA Projections Hub.
Dimers’ Highest-Projected PRA Totals
These are the three players who project for the highest total PRA tonight. Notably, they're the only 3 players who project for 40 or more.
Luka Dončić (Lakers), 48.2 PRA
Game: Lakers vs. Warriors
Luka has the top projection on the opening-week slate at 48.2 PRA, the only player we have above 46.
Points do most of the work as his 33.1 PTS projection is the highest on the board, and his 3.6 threes give him the deepest range of anyone tonight behind only Stephen Curry and LaMelo Ball.
The Lakers rebuilt the roster around him this summer, including a trade for Walker Kessler, the lob-threat big Dončić asked for. The matchup helps too, as Golden State is already without Jimmy Butler, Kristaps Porziņģis, Moses Moody, and Brandin Podziemski.
That’s a thin Warriors rotation to throw at the league’s most reliable King of the Court winner:
Luka won the promo six times last season, every time as our top-ranked projection, with a bonus ranging from $21 to $41.
Giannis, Antetokounmpo (Heat), 45.5 PRA
Game: Heat vs. Timberwolves
Giannis makes his Heat debut against Anthony Edwards, LaMelo Ball, and the Timberwolves, in a game with one of the highest totals on the board.
In his career, he's averaging 23 points, 10.3 rebounds and 5.9 assists in 22 games vs. Minnesota.
His 10.6 REB projection is 8th on the slate, and a 6.4 AST mark keeps him close to triple-double territory, but there's more competition for rebounds with both Bam Adebayo and Rudy Gobert in this game, and both featured in our Top 10 rebounders of the night.
Giannis was a co-winner last season with Tyrese Maxey in the second week of the promo, returning $20 in a split pool.
Jalen Johnson (Hawks), 40.5 PRA
Game: Hawks vs. Magic
Jalen Johnson is our most balanced producer in the top three at 22.2 PTS, 10.6 REB and 7.6 AST, picking up where he left off last season, when he made his first All-Star team and All-NBA Third Team and set a Hawks franchise record with 13 triple-doubles.
The Hawks added Lu Dort and Aaron Wiggins and kept C.J. McCollum in the starting five, but Johnson still drives the offense as one of the league’s best passing forwards. Johnson’s points projection trails the two players above him, but his well-rounded game means he can stack PRA in multiple facets of the game.
Despite his incredible production last season, he wore the King of the Court crown only once, in a split pool with Cooper Flagg, when he was ranked 3rd in our PRA projections, returning a $63 bonus bet.
Dimers’ Longshot Targets
Like last season, we like to highlight a few longshot targets that are likely to return a higher bonus bet if they win.
These two players stand out from our NBA Projections tonight.
Anthony Davis (Wizards), 36.5 PRA
Game: Wizards vs. Bucks
Anthony Davis makes his Wizards debut against a Bucks team starting its first season without Giannis.
His 10.9 REB projection is tied for sixth-highest on the slate, ahead of Giannis and Jalen Johnson.
Davis played only 20 games last season because of calf, groin and hand injuries, then had offseason surgery on a detached retina.
When he played last season, he averaged 20.4 points and 11.1 rebounds, and our 21.8 PTS projection is in line with that.
What could push his total higher is Trae Young, who projects for a slate-high 10.4 assists in his own Washington debut.
A low 3.9 AST mark keeps Davis’s ceiling below the top tier, but his rebounding gives him a high-upside double-double floor.
Cooper Flagg (Mavericks), 34.9 PRA
Game: Mavericks vs. Rockets
Cooper Flagg starts his second season with Kyrie Irving back in the lineup, setting him up with one of the league's most consistent passers.
Our projection has him improving on his Rookie of the Year numbers. His 23.0 PTS and 5.3 AST projections are both up from last season’s 21 points and 4.5 assists, and his 6.7 REB matches his rookie average.
The matchup is tough. Houston ranked sixth in defensive rating last season and is an 8.5-point favorite.
Flagg won King of the Court once last year, in the aforementioned split with Jalen Johnson, and as our 18th-ranked player that night, was the second-lowest of any winner.
He finished his rookie year with back-to-back 60-plus PRA games in the final week, so he has the ceiling to win as a longshot.

Tips for Maximizing Your King of the Court Chances
Target triple-double machines. Players who fill every column of the box score have the highest PRA floors, and the Double Doubles and Triple Doubles markets give you a direct way to back them.
Compare the line to the projection. Our Projections Hub shows how far our projection sits above or below the consensus line. A big gap on an elite stat-stuffer points to a strong King of the Court candidate.
Check H2H trends and hit rates. Dimers' new NBA Projections are perfect for this strategy. Each player page has splits against tonight’s opponent, plus hit rates over the last 5, 10 and 20 games. Use them to tell whether a projection reflects a real trend or a one-off.
Focus on pace and matchups. Fast-paced games and weak defenses often inflate stat totals.
Mix it up with favorites and longshots. A $5 bet can go a long way, and surprises happen every night in the NBA.
