MLS picks and +561 parlay [Saturday, August 1]
With so many matches on, there are dozens of Moneylines, draws and total bets across the full slate.
To narrow down all these plays, we're focusing on one Dimers Pro edge bet in each of the following matches:
⚽ Inter Miami vs. Columbus Crew
⚽ Nashville SC vs. D.C. United
⚽ Colorado Rapids vs. Austin FC
Each of these bets comes with an edge against the best odds on the sportsbooks, and each one carries a probability of at least 45%.
Odds on this parlay will vary by sportsbook, with the odds below representing the best possible odds as of publishing for each.
Bet: Miami ML (-145 on BetMGM)
Match: Inter Miami vs. Columbus Crew
Start time: 7:30PM ET
Dimers gives Miami a 62.3% win probability over Columbus in a battle of the 2023 and 2025 MLS Cup champions.
A 3.2% edge over the -145 odds at BetMGM are enough to make the Herons our top edge of the weekend as one of the three most likely winners of the slate as highlighted in our MLS Betting Guide.
Miami have won six straight in MLS play, and even with Lionel Messi still easing back after Argentina's World Cup run, the reigning champions have handled the absence well, stringing together back-to-back wins since the league resumed, scoring four goals across those two matches. It remains to be seen if Messi plays, but he did return to practice for the club this week.
Luis Suárez has stepped up in Messi's stead, scoring three goals in those two games, and the newly arrived Casemiro adds another layer to an already stacked attacking group.
Columbus, meanwhile, have won once across their last eight regular-season meetings with Miami, and their well-documented road weaknesses leave them vulnerable against a Miami side that leads the league in goals scored.

Bet: Nashville ML (+130 on DraftKings)
Match: Nashville SC vs. D.C. United
Start time: 7:30 PM ET
Nashville sit atop the Eastern Conference and the entire league table, having collected 39 points through 17 matches, drawing three times and losing twice, and the Dimers model has them as its third most likely MLS Cup winner in our MLS Futures.
Last weekend's 1-0 loss at Orlando City snapped a five-match winning streak and marked their first shutout loss in months. D.C. United have found some life of their own, winning 2-1 over Toronto FC in their last home fixture off a stoppage-time penalty from Tai Baribo, and sit right on the bubble for a playoff spot, rounding out the top 9 in the East. Still, the season-long form favors the visitors.
Nashville has scored the third-most goals in the Eastern Conference while D.C. sits tied for fourth-fewest, and Nashville hasn't lost to D.C. in any of their last three meetings.
This match is our most likely draw of the weekend, but our 47.2% probability of a Nashville win at a 3.7% edge still nearly doubles that probability.

Bet: Colorado ML (-135 on BetMGM)
Match: Colorado Rapids vs. Austin FC
Start time: 9:30 PM ET
This one sits just under our 2% threshold to appear in our MLS Best Bets, but still shows an edge relative to -135, with Colorado's 59.2% win probability making them a top-five most likely winner of the weekend.
It's a clash between two Western Conference strugglers; Colorado sit 13th in the West while Austin sit 14th, but Colorado gets the benefit of home turf against a team in genuine freefall.
Austin has won once its last six, losing 3-0 in their most recent match, and before the break, lost 3-0 to St. Louis, 5-0 to San Diego and 2-1 to the worst team in MLS, Sporting KC.
Colorado hasn't scored multiple goals in an MLS match since April, yet they still own a positive goal differential, one of just two teams outside the playoff bubble who can boast that, holding teams to one goal or fewer in 6 of their last 10 matches.
With Austin missing key pieces up front and defensively fragile on the road, the Rapids' home-field edge looks like enough to get the job done in a low-scoring affair.
Colorado ML is under a 2% edge, but still a value at the best odds.
