All eyes are on Caitlin Clark’s status ahead of Friday night’s showdown between the Indiana Fever and Dallas Wings. The rookie phenom missed Indiana’s game last night against the Los Angeles Sparks, an 85-75 loss for the Fever, due to a lingering groin injury and remains day-to-day.

UPDATED Fever vs. Wings Game Prediction and Player Projections
According to Dimers' latest Fever vs. Wings Prediction, the Fever are slight 1.5-point favorites, moving from -2.5 before the Clark injury.
However, formerly predicting the Wings with a 44% ML probability, the Dimers model now favors them at 58%, with a substantial 63% probability to cover the spread, predicting a final score of 84-82 in favor of Dallas.
The game total is projected to go over the updated 165.5 point total (down from 168.5) on the sportsbooks with a 51% probability.
In Clark’s absence on Thursday, Indiana relied heavily on Kelsey Mitchell and Aliyah Boston, both of whom stepped up in their own way. Boston posted a double double while Mitchell led the team in scoring, however the team struggled mightily on defense.
Update Fever player projections:
Kelsey Mitchell: 22 PTS, 2 REB, 2 AST
Aliyah Boston: 19 PTS, 9 REB, 3 AST
Natasha Howard: 15 PTS, 5 REB, 2 AST
On the Wings side, we haven't seen much shift, as Dimers' projections for Paige Bueckers indicate a performance of 20 Points, 4 Rebounds and 5 Assists.
