TonyBet Casino became available to Ontarians in 2022 and has become quite popular in the Loyalist province. I heard so many good things about it that I did this review to find out more about TonyBet Casino in Ontario.
Everything I heard about the site is true. It boasts an impressive collection of immersive casino games, offers a premium user experience, and partners with the best providers, among many other things. I’ll describe how the site entered the Ontario iGaming scene, walk you through its stacked lobby, and describe five reasons why it’s liked in Ontario. Keep reading.
What the world now knows as TonyBet started in 2003 as OmniBet somewhere in Estonia. By 2009, it was bought by world-famous poker player Antanas Guoga (aka Tony G), and that’s how the site got the name TonyBet.
Over the years, TonyBet has grown to become one of the most trusted gaming brands and is constantly looking to provide premium gaming services to users around the world. Naturally, when the iGaming market opened up in Ontario on April 4, 2022, TonyBet started making moves. By April 7, 2022, Tonybet was already live in Ontario and was fast creating a name for itself as a top gaming site in the Loyalist province.
Before getting on with the rest of this TonyBet review, let me quickly walk you through the steps of getting started at TonyBet:
After creating your TonyBet Casino account, make a deposit and then head to the casino lobby. There’s a lot going on there, but don't worry, I’ll give you a tour of the lobby shortly.
You’ll be spoiled for choice at the site’s lobby. Whether you’re into spinning reels, table games, or live dealer titles, there’s an impressive variety of casino games you can explore. During this TonyBet Casino review, I learned that the site currently boasts 1,500+ games at the moment.
The best part is that TonyBet partners with leading software providers such as Playtech, IGT, Hacksaw, NetEnt, IGT, Playson, Wazdan, and Pragmatic Play, among others. All the games I played at the site (I had a field day in the lobby) had realistic audio effects, top-notch visuals, and loads of innovative features that made me go “Wow!” on several occasions. Here are the games I found in the lobby.
I’d describe the slots in the lobby as gaming experiences that were designed and curated just for players. Here’s the fun part. The lobby sports a wide range of slot games (there are 680+ slots at the last count), so you’ll find everything from 3-reelers to immersive video slots with dynamic graphics and innovative features. That’s not all, you’ll find all sorts of themed slots, including slots based on mythology, adventure, and pop culture, among others. There are also lots of slots with wilds, scatters, multipliers, expanding wilds, cascading reels, and bonus rounds. However, not all the games may be potentially rewarding as they all have different levels of volatility and Return To Player (RTP) percentage.
Landing on the lobby made me feel like a kid at an ice cream parlour, I just couldn’t make up my mind about what slots to play. When I finally did make up my mind, the following games became my favourites:
I also found some progressive jackpot games that offer high potential payouts, multiple bonus features, and engaging gameplay if that’s your thing. Two of my favourite jackpot games at TonyBet are Mega Moolah and Hall of Gods.
For a casino that joined the Ontario iGaming scene not long ago, I was impressed at the selection of table games available in the lobby. Although there aren’t as many table games as there are at Mr Vegas Casino Ontario, you’ll still have a choice selection at TonyBet. Here are some of the table games available at TonyBet:
You’ll get to test your skills against the dealer in different blackjack games such as Classic Blackjack, European Blackjack, and Multi-Hand Blackjack.
Some of the more popular titles I found in this category include American Roulette, European Roulette, and French Roulette. You’ll find that each title has unique betting options and strategies.
There are only a handful of baccarat games in the lobby. However, you’ll have a chance to play some exciting baccarat games, such as Magic Baccarat and 3D Baccarat, to mention a few.
Interestingly, I found more poker titles at the site than Baccarat. Some of the available poker games include Triple Play Draw Poker, Ten Play Draw Poker, Game King Video Poker, and Blackjack Poker and Pairs, among others.
I like TonyBet’s live casino floor, which hosts 90+ live dealer games. The real-life dealers are professional and friendly, and the games are broadcast in HD quality. Although I didn’t get to play the games, as I’m not big on live dealer games, I couldn’t help but notice the immersive experience that the live dealer games offer. It felt as if I was just sitting across the table from a croupier at a physical casino.
There’s also a live chat feature where you can chat with other players while wagering. For live dealer games enthusiasts, some of the popular titles you’ll find include:
You’ll also find live dealer games like Live Dream Catcher, Sweet Bonanza CandyLand, and Live Monopoly, which add something refreshing to the experience.
I found several other games that didn’t fit into the categories above, so I thought to create a category for them. These games include:
All the games in the casino lobby have different limits, so I’ll suggest that you find out what they are before playing.
Although many TonyBet Casino reviews I’ve seen waxed lyrical about the site’s features and how it is one of the top five online casinos in Ontario, I didn’t take their word for it. I decided to review the features myself, and I found five reasons why TonyBet is a big deal among Ontario gamers. Here goes.
The first thing that caught my eye when I landed on the site’s casino page was its colour scheme. It’s a refreshing blend of purple and orange that’s easy on the eye. There’s also a couple of banners with lots of graphics on the top of the page that add to the aesthetics of the page.
TonyBet is more than just looks. It boasts an ease of use that reminds me of my experience at NEO.bet Casino Ontario. I like that TonyBet isn’t minimalist by any means, but it still looks orderly and sleek in spite of the large number of game tiles packed into the home page.
At the top of the page, there is a cascading menu and links to different sections of the site. The “Login” and “Sign Up” tabs are also located there. Right under this line of links and buttons are banners that display content about the site.
Under these banners are two search boxes and links like “All Games,” “Popular,” “New,” “Pre Summer Bash, “Bonus Buy,” “Slots,” and “Drops & Wins.” Thanks to these links, I didn’t need to dive into the sea of game tiles that represented the main game lobby. I was able to easily find the games that I wanted by either clicking on the links or using the search boxes (one of which is for game providers).
Right under the links and search boxes are loads of game tiles, which, to the site’s credit, are also categorized so you can easily find your preferred game tile. There’s also a chat icon hovering towards the footer of the page so you can easily contact the support team when you need it. At the footer of the site are more links to help you get to different parts of the site and find information about its licensing and partners.
The website speed is impressive, and the games load quickly. I never had to refresh any of the pages while reviewing the site. I particularly like how well the links and buttons help users (especially new ones) go about their gaming. If I were to rate the site’s user experience, it’d be a 4.5/5. It’s that good.
I’m not exaggerating when I say that there aren’t many casino apps that offer the same functionality and ease of use as TonyBet’s. The app is available for iOS and Android users on the Google Play Store and the Apple Store and can be downloaded easily from both.
However, Android users can only use the app on an Android device running on at least Android 6.0 and with a minimum of 100MB of space. For iOS users, the device would have to be running on at least iOS 15.0 and have a minimum of 200 MB of pace.
That might sound like a lot of space, but when I tested the app on my Android phone, I didn’t experience any lag. The app is really responsive, and it offers the same functionality, features, and options as the desktop version. You’ll even get push notifications when exploring the casino on the app. TonyBet does look a lot sleeker on the app, and if I were to choose, I’d take it over the desktop version.
If you don’t have as much space on your device or you’re not interested in getting the app, TonyBet is fully optimized for mobile browsers. You can enjoy your favourite games on the go without downloads and losing out on quality or functionality.
I was impressed by the range of payment methods supported at this online casino. The last time I checked, the site supported methods like Interac, Payper, and different cryptocurrencies, all of which offer safe and efficient on-site transactions. The site supports CAD, but the processing times vary, depending on the payment method chosen.
For instance, deposits are instant, while withdrawals might take longer. Withdrawals via Ewallets and cryptocurrencies often take longer, while bank transfers can take 3-5 business days. The minimum deposit and withdrawal amount at TonyBet is 10.00 CAD, while the maximum daily withdrawal amount is 4.000.00 CAD. You can’t withdraw more than 15,000.00 CAD weekly, nor can you withdraw more than 50,000.00 CAD every month.

TonyBet understands how important prompt support is to a user's gaming experience. The site also values its players, and that’s why its support team is only a couple of seconds away. Here’s what I mean.
TonyBet offers round-the-clock support to its players. You can contact the support team via live chat, email, or a contact form on the website. On multiple occasions during this review, I contacted the support team via live chat for information on certain things I wasn’t clear on.
Each time I initiated a live chat, it only took about 5 seconds (yes, I checked each time) to get a response from an agent, and it didn’t matter what time of day it was. The best part is that the agents are real people, not bots, and they were quite knowledgeable and courteous regardless of the questions I asked.
TonyBet also has an FAQ section that answers general questions about playing. Although there is no telephone support at the moment, the live chat makes up for it.

Ontario has really strict gaming laws, so Ontarians are often careful about where they play. That’s because, besides staying on the right side of the law, no one wants to get ripped off by scam online casinos.
Thankfully, with TonyBet, Ontarians have nothing to worry about. The site is a fully licensed, audited, and regulated online casino. It is owned and operated by Ligtip Limited, which has a verifiable address at Valletta Buildings, Second Floor, Suite 7, South Street, Valletta VLT 1103, MALTA. Ligtip Limited is registered with the Alcohol and Gaming Commission (AGCO) of Ontario under number OPIG1239101 and operates under an agreement with iGaming Ontario (iGO).
By complying with Ontario-specific compliance, gamers in Ontario can rest assured that every game the site offers is not only fair and transparent but also adheres to the strict standards set by the province to protect its players.
Besides adhering to local legislation, TonyBet also uses advanced SSL encryption to protect players' personal and financial information. It also offers a range of Responsible Gaming tools to help players play responsibly. These tools include:
Another reason I see TonyBet as a legitimate online casino is that it supports a variety of reputable payment methods with a reputation to protect. These methods also use security measures to protect users' data and funds, which is another layer of security for TonyBet gamers.

If you’re big on exploring a site that offers all the excitement, bells, and whistles of online casino gaming, then check TonyBet out.
I did, and I was impressed by what I found. It has a teeming casino lobby that features an exciting variety of games: slots, table games, live dealer titles, and what it even calls “specialty games.” The site has been in the iGaming business since 2003 (not in Ontario), which probably explains why it has partnerships with all the top gaming providers and payment providers.
But what would a rich casino lobby be without great usability? TonyBet offers a premium user experience regardless of the device used. It’s licensed by the AGCO and the iGO and uses advanced SSL technology, so you don’t need to look over your shoulder while playing there. As a bona fide TonyBet player, you’ll get prompt support via live chat whenever you need it, and there’s also email support for backup.
There’s really nothing I didn’t like about playing at TonyBet (maybe there should be a tab for table games), and it’s one site I’d recommend. If the casino looks like something you’d like to explore, click the banners on this page to kickstart your TonyBet adventure.
TonyBet is configured to only be accessed from Ontario, where gambling is legal.
TonyBet Casino offers a native app to its iOS and Android users. It is also optimized for mobile browsers.
To sign up at TonyBet, you must be a resident of Ontario, Canada, and at least 19 years old.
TonyBet is a real money casino where you can make deposits and withdrawals in CAD.
