Who Are the Most Profitable NBA Teams Against the Spread in 2020/21?

Who Are the Most Profitable NBA Teams Against the Spread in 2020/21?

The spread is the most popular bet type in most sports, giving bettors a chance to back a team that may not be chance at the moneyline, or to get behind a favorite to win big.

Below are the top five most profitable teams had you bet them against the spread every game this season ⬇️

5. Chicago Bulls (23-17 ATS, cover 57.5%)

The Bulls currently sit in 10th place in the East, with an eye on at least finishing in a play-in spot. But beyond that, they've also been one of the most impressive teams against the spread this season, covering in 23 of their 40 games so far. Led by Zach LaVine, Chicago has rewarded bettors all season long.

4. Philadelphia 76ers (24-17-1 ATS, cover 57.5%)

The Sixers currently sit atop of the Eastern Conference, and based on their record against the spread, plenty of their results have come as a surprise to the sportsbooks. Even when they've been without MVP candidate Joel Embiid, Philly continue to impress, covering in 24 of 42 game in the 2020/21 season.

3. San Antonio Spurs (23-16 ATS, cover 60%)

Surprise, surprise, Gregg Popovich is surpassing expectations. The Spurs currently find themselves in 7th place in the West, having covered the spread in a ridiculous 60% of matchups this season. Talk continues around the possibility of DeRozan and/or Aldridge being moved on, but with a playoffs berth well and truly in site, it may make more sense to hold on their old head (and continue to rewared bettors around the country).

2. Utah Jazz (26-15 ATS, 63.5% cover)

At one point this season, the Jazz covered the spread in a scary 18 of 20 games, and now find themselves with the second best record ATS in the league, as well as the best straight up record (30-11) in the entire NBA. Led by Mitchell and Gobert, Utah continues to pump out impressive results, with a 26-15 ATS record something to behold for a team on top of the standings.

1. Phoenix Suns (27-13 ATS, 67.5% cover)

The Phoenix Suns, ay? Once dubbed the 'Bright Future Sons' by NBA reporter, Kevin O'Connor, the Suns are now one of the best teams in the Association, sitting in second place in the Western Conference right now. But what is arguably more impressive, is their record against the spread, in which they've covered a ridiculous 67.5% of the time.
