Sports Betting Challenge: DimersBOT JACKPOT - Best Picks and Odds for Wednesday April 14, 2021

The first day of the DimersBOT JACKPOT is in the books, and in the ultimate betting challenge of Man vs. Machine, our Bot is winning, but only just.
Yesterday we kicked things off with our Challenger TJ going up against our DimersBOT, making three picks each across the pro sports leagues in the United States. While both human and robot went 2-1, DimersBOT edges the unit tally by the barest of margins to take an early lead in the first of our three day competition.

Before today's picks, let's do a quick recap:
❓How does the DimersBOT JACKPOT work?
Each week a loyal Dimers Community member will take on our DImersBOT over three days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Both the Challenger and DimersBOT will make three picks per day across any pro league (NBA, MLB or NHL). DimersBOT will of course be making the picks from its own data projections, based upon 10,000 simulations of every game in the United States.
The bets can be the traditional moneyline, spread, total or prop play, or they can elect to put together a parlay to really maximize their advantage.
Each pick will have one unit assigned to the bet. Whoever has the most units at the end of the three days is declared the winner.
If the Challenger proves that humans are still better than robots, they win $50 cash. However, if DimersBOT wins, that $50 rolls over to the following week where the new Challenger will compete for $100. If DimersBOT keeps winning, that Jackpot keeps getting bigger!
It's not all bad for the losers, though. We'll still give anyone that competes a free Dimers t-shirt.

Our first Dimer to test their hand against our robot is Trevor "TJ" Johnson. TJ, who follows Dimers on Instagram, is from Indiana and is new to the world of sports gambling, only placing his first ever bet earlier this year.
💪 Day 2 Picks - The Challenger
BET 1: 🔥 Tampa Bay Rays at the run line vs. Rangers (+104)
Challenger: The Rays typically win in blowout fashion and the Rangers usually have a hard time generating runs. I like Tampa at home to get the job done. You can bet this one with William Hill Sportsbook.
BET 2: 🔥 Phillies at the moneyline vs. Mets (-118)
Challenger: The Phillies' Rhys Hoskins has been rocking this season and not a single save has been generated from the Mets Bullpen so far this season. The best odds are for this one are from William Hill Sportsbook.

BET 3: 🔥 Heat at the moneyline vs. Nuggets (+146)
Challenger: Another William Hill Sportsbook play here. The Nuggets have lost a star in Jamal Murray and have just come off two losses. The Heat have done the opposite, on a hot two-game winning streak.

DB: After a 13-run slugfest between these two teams last night, my simulated data says there's a 55.6% chance of the runs flowing again today. Let's goooooo!

DB: I just can't see how the banged up Hornets compete with the Cavs tomorrow. My projections has detected a 4.9% edge on the odds given out by PointsBet and I'm going to cash in!

BET 3: 🔥 Spurs at the moneyline vs. Raptors (-130)
