Sports Betting Challenge: DimersBOT JACKPOT - Best Picks and Odds for Thursday April 15, 2021

We have reached the final day of our first ever DimersBOT JACKPOT! As we head into the final round of picks, DimersBOT has a commanding lead, but our Challenger is swinging for the fences in order to steal the cash.
Yesterday we kicked things off with our Challenger TJ going up against our DimersBOT, making three picks each across the pro sports leagues in the United States. While both human and robot went 2-1, DimersBOT edges the unit tally by the barest of margins to take an early lead in the first of our three day competition.
💵 Yesterday's Results
It was a VERY tough day for both man and machine yesterday with only one of the six combined picks winning in the Cavs covering +3.5 against the Hornets. Both competitors learnt that the nature of this contest is fierce: one bad day and you find yourself down big.
Will our Challenger TJ go big in order to try and make up ground on the final day? Will DimersBOT try to play it safe? We'll see.

Before today's picks, let's do a quick recap:
❓How does the DimersBOT JACKPOT work?
Each week a loyal Dimers Community member will take on our DImersBOT over three days (Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday). Both the Challenger and DimersBOT will make three picks per day across any pro league (NBA, MLB or NHL). DimersBOT will of course be making the picks from its own data projections, based upon 10,000 simulations of every game in the United States.
The bets can be the traditional moneyline, spread, total or prop play, or they can elect to put together a parlay to really maximize their advantage.
Each pick will have one unit assigned to the bet. Whoever has the most units at the end of the three days is declared the winner.
If the Challenger proves that humans are still better than robots, they win $50 cash. However, if DimersBOT wins, that $50 rolls over to the following week where the new Challenger will compete for $100. If DimersBOT keeps winning, that Jackpot keeps getting bigger!
It's not all bad for the losers, though. We'll still give anyone that competes a free Dimers t-shirt.

Our first Dimer to test their hand against our robot is Trevor "TJ" Johnson. TJ, who follows Dimers on Instagram, is from Indiana and is new to the world of sports gambling, only placing his first ever bet earlier this year.

BET 1: 🔥 PARLAY: Pirates ML vs Padres and Boston Red Sox at the run line vs Twins (+316)
Challenger: It's time to get creative with some parlay action! The Pirates have been on a roll and are hitting the ball like mad, and the Red Sox have won 8 in a row. You can bet this parlay with William Hill Sportsbook.

BET 2: 🔥 PARLAY Suns ML vs. Kings and Golden State Warriors at the spread vs. Cavs (+139)
Challenger: I think the Suns will cover the spread, but will take them at the moneyline just in case while the Cavs are too inconsistent. I'm banking that the Warriors can cover here. Get the best odds for this parlay at William Hill Sportsbook.

BET 3: 🔥 Los Angeles Dodgers at the run line vs. Rockies (-146)
Challenger: One more play with odds thanks to William Hill Sportsbook. The Dodgers are still one of the most dominant teams in the MLB with BY FAR the highest win differential in the league.

Day 3 Picks - DimersBOT
BET 1: 🔥 Red Sox at the moneyline vs. Twins (+143)
DB: I'm being just a little sneaky here and a little tactical, taking Boston at the money line. at + odds which has a 5.3% edge on the sportsbook's odds provided by PointsBet. As my challenger has taken the Sox at the run line, I do leave myself a small margin of error of one run, but I like the probabilities here!

BET 2: 🔥 Islanders @ Bruins total goals OVER 5.5 (+118)
DB: Thanks again to PointsBet for the odds here, but my projections detect a 4.4% edge her compared with the way I have this game turning out. There were seven goals scored during the last time these two teams played only three weeks ago. Let's keep that form rolling.

BET 3: 🔥 PARLAY: Phillies @ Mets total runs OVER 7.5 and Rangers @ Rays total runs OVER 8.5 (+281)
DB: The only thing I love more than a good oil change is a slug fest in the MLB! I've got these two games going over according to my projections and I think a parlay is a safe move here just in case my challenger hits on one of his. Bet this parlay with PointsBet.
