Sports Betting Challenge: DimersBOT JACKPOT - Best Picks and Odds for Saturday May 1, 2021

So it's all come down to this. After two days and six picks each, we head into Day 3 with half a unit separating the two competitors.
DimersBOT was less than impressive on Day 2 of the DimersBOT challenge, going 1-2 on its picks with the only saving grace being a nice parlay cash at big odds to cut the deficit. Our challenger, Eric, made it 2-1 cashing some smaller value tickets to take a half unit lead into the final day.

Before today's picks, let's do a quick recap:
❓How does the DimersBOT JACKPOT work?
Each week a loyal Dimers Community member will take on our DImersBOT over three days. Both the Challenger and DimersBOT will make three picks per day across any pro league (NBA, MLB or NHL). DimersBOT will of course be making the picks from its own data projections, based upon 10,000 simulations of every game in the United States.
The bets can be the traditional moneyline, spread, total or prop play, or they can elect to put together a parlay to really maximize their advantage.
Each pick will have one unit assigned to the bet. Whoever has the most units at the end of the three days is declared the winner.
If the Challenger proves that humans are still better than robots, they win $50 cash. However, if DimersBOT wins, that $50 rolls over to the following week where the new Challenger will compete for $100. If DimersBOT keeps winning, that Jackpot keeps getting bigger!
It's not all bad for the losers, though. We'll still give anyone that competes a free Dimers t-shirt.

This week's challenger is Eric who goes by @frostyxspoon on Instagram. Eric is from San Francisco and is a huge sports fan but can't yet gamble in the state of California - however, he can take on the DimersBOT!

BET 1: 🔥 Detroit Tigers at the run line vs. Yankees (+100)
Challenger: Ok the Yankees messed me up on this pick yesterday, but I still think they're trash so today I'm taking the Tigers with the safety of the run line at even money. Best odds via William Hill Sportsbook.

BET 2: 🔥 Orioles at the moneyline vs. Athletics (+172)
Challenger: Odds with William Hill Sportsbook for this one - the Orioles already did it last night and I think way too many people are sleeping on them. I smell an upset!

Challenger: I'm playing safe on this one to finish off the contest. The Jazz aren't getting beaten so I'm going to restore my unit and hopefully add a little bit more while I watch DimersBOT crumble!

Day 3 Picks - DimersBOT
BET 1: 🔥 Sabres at the moneyline vs. Bruins (+315) with PointsBet
DB: I can't help but keep loving the Sabres. They beat the Bruins last week and I just know they can do it again. I'm detecting a 5.2% edge on the odds the sportsbooks are offering.

BET 2: 🔥 PARLAY - Red Wings/Lightning over 5.5 goals + Indians/White Sox over 7.5 runs (+264)
DB: I had great success parlaying two of my best Over plays yesterday so I'm going to keep the good times rolling by backing it up again with two of my favorite plays.

BET 3: 🔥 Mets at the moneyline vs. Phillies (+102)
DB: The Mets are a good team - too good to be plus money against the Phillies. I've got another edge against the sportsbooks that this is a value play worth taking!
