Wyndham Championship Matchups Parlay for 2023
Our parlay for the 2023 Memorial Tournament has landed, with four legs totaling odds of +2466 with DraftKings. We also recommend placing a round robin bet on this, giving you a nice payout if only two or three of the legs end up winning.
Leg 1: Denny McCarthy (+100)
Our first leg for this week is our pick of the tournament, Denny McCarthy, paired up against Sungjae Im, who's been having a rough go.
Im has five missed cuts since May compared to four placements no better than T20. DimersBOT rates McCarthy as a 52% chance of winning this matchup, with a 5% chance to tie.
With both golfers comfortably inside the Top-70 that will head to the playoffs, we'll back our main pick with a slight edge here.
Leg 2: Shane Lowry (+100)
The second leg of our Wyndham Championship parlay is for Shane Lowry to outperform Hideki Matsuyama across the course of the week.
Matsuyama is our model's highest probability winner by a small margin, but he's more or less locked into his playoff spot, sitting at 56th. Lowry, on the other hand, is six spots outside the cutoff of 70 and will need a strong finish this week to qualify for the playoffs. He's got one top-10 finish to Matsuyama's two this year.
Lowry gets a 43% chance to win this matchup, and if you factor in the tie probability of 5.3% which would give us a push, we're nearly at the even-money value we get in the odds.

Leg 3: Russell Henley (-120)
Next up we have a matchup between our third-most likely and tenth-most likely golfers to win the Wyndham Tournament, Russell Henley and Si Woo Kim.
Although these two both have a good chance this week, we're giving the edge to Henley by a strong amount. Si Woo Kim is ranked 18th in points in the FedEx Cup Playoff standings and after missing the cut in his past two events, likely using this final tournament as a tune-up to get back into form.
Henley gets a 54% chance to win this matchup, with a 5.4% probability of a tie. He has almost a 10% grater probability just to finish Top 20, making this a solid bet for the weekend.
Leg 4: Eric Cole (-110)
Our fourth leg this week is for Eric Cole to win his matchup against Thomas Detry. The books have this one split down the middle, with both golfers at -110. DimersBOT almost agrees, giving Cole a 50% chance to win this matchup, but with the tie at 6.3%, we're getting an advantage.
After missing a bunch of cuts to start the season, Cole hasn't missed once since late May. Detry has missed two in his last four events. Cole to finish Top 10 is already one of our best bets of the weekend, so we love backing him in this head-to-head here.
Leg 5: Adam Schenk (-120)
One of the longest favorites in terms of probability this week, we're taking Adam Schenk to beat Justin Suh for our final leg.
Schenk gets a 54.7% probability from our model to beat out Suh, who gets just a 39.2% chance, with the tie at 6.1%. Schenk hs a bunch of missed cuts interlaced with Top-10 finishes, of which he has five this year. Suh has just two, hasn't had a Top-20 finish since May, and is seven spots outside the playoff bubble, while Schenk sits comfortably at 23rd.
We broke down why Schenk is a great play to finish Top 5 in this event and we're going to stand by that and take him with the head-to-head here.
