PGA Tour: Waste Management Phoenix Open 2022 Golf Picks and Betting Odds

The fresh season of golf continues this week with the Phoenix Open on Thursday morning held at TPC Scottsdale in Scottsdale, Arizona. As with every event on the golf schedule, we've got three outright winner picks, ranging from one of the favorites to some mega value!

After picking Hideki Matsuyama to win the Sony Open a few weeks ago at +2000 odds, we're feeling good about going again with this week's picks.

So let's look to this week's Waste Management Open and three guys that we like to win this week's golf tournament, varying from one of the best chances, who still represents good value, down to some nice plays on a couple of stars that look set for big weeks at longer odds! We also show you the best sportsbook promos to play.

With crowds back and a host of big names out there, we're set for an awesome four days of golf... and betting... in Arizona! As we do each and every tournament, we provide you with our best golf picks for outright winner, as well as some in-play picks throughout.

Let's get into our best bets for this week ⬇️

Golf Picks: 2022 Pebble Beach Pro-Am

Top Pick - Xander Schauffele

Xander has bee easing his way into the new season thus far, competing in just five PGA events since October.

But all four have been solid, with his worst finish being a T34 at the Farmers Insurance Open. But it's time for a big push this week.

Schaufelle is one of the dudes that gets up for this event, with the crazy fans spurring him to a T2 finish here last year, continuing on a good run at this event for him.

  • 2021 - T2 (-18)
  • 2020 - T16 (-10)
  • 2019 - T10 (-10)
  • 2018 - T17 (-11)

A disappointing Sunday is all that stopped him from winning this event in 2021, and he will be out to rectify that as he looks for 2022 to be his most successful professional year yet.

Value Pick - Adam Scott

Adam Scott was recently on the No Laying Up podcast, where he spoke of his love for this event despite having never played in it.

The Australian is yet another guy who will be buoyed by the crowd, with the noise set to resemble what we get at Presidents Cups, especially when held in his native country.

The 2013 Masters champ has made four of four cuts so far this season, with the highlight being a T5 finish at the CJ Cup late in 2021.

Dark Horse - Rickie Fowler

Need we say more? Rickie Fowler is absolutely adored by this crowd, and after failing to make the cut here last season, he will be out to make suer he's in contention come Sunday.

The 2019 champion will be making his 14th appearance at the Waste Management Open, with one win, two runner-up finishes, a fourth-place finish and six total Top-25s making us his numbers so far.

These odds are just too good not to sprinkle on!
