Rising Stars Tournament, 9:00PM ET

This year's Rising Stars Tournament has a brand-new format with four teams of 7 drafted to compete in a three-game series. The first two games (semi finals) will be played as a race to 50 points, with the two winners then playing to 25 as they compete for the trophy.

Now, this is a pretty tough format to cap, especially with it being the first year that it's set up like this, but we still have a pick that looks like great value.

The squad that we're taking in this one is Team Payton, which will of course be coached by the great Gary Payton.

Although the Rising Stars game is usually seen as a bit of fun, this year is different due to the format, and there's no chance 'The Glove' is going to let his team go out there and not defend hard.

On offense, LaMelo (who will also play on Sunday) will be out to put on a show in this one after last year's Rising Stars game was cancelled due to the pandemic.

The other reason that we're liking this team is that they have a couple of injury replacement dudes in the lineup (Jonathan Kuminga and Bones Hyland) who will want to show that they should've been selected in the first place.

Plus, Kuminga is probably the best big man in the tournament, which should help them greatly.
