After two complete thrashings, we're about to find out if the Nats' week gets a whole lot worse in Queens with Evan Lee getting his debut start in the Majors on the mound. Lee has been playing Double-A baseball this year and will get thrown to the wolves aka the Mets who have put 23 runs on Washington over the past two days. We're sticking with the in-form team.

Giants vs. Phillies, 6:05PM ET

We cashed this pick yesterday and we're going back to the well because frankly, not much has changed since San Francisco won in extra inning last night for the second consecutive day. These teams appear evenly matched but the Phillies bullpen continues to let them down in tight ones. With Aaron Nola (2-4, 3.56 ERA) on the mound for Philadelphia, going up against Carlos Rodón (4-4, 3.60 ERA), the same formula rings true: San Francisco hangs around and waits for the Phills to beat themselves.

Twins vs. Tigers, 7:10PM ET

On the surface, Twins starting ace Bailey Ober (1-1, 3.25 ERA) doesn't have overly impressive stats in 2022, but if you did a little deeper you'll see that Minnesota are 5-1 in games where he starts this year, and 4-0 in their last 4. Ober has a great command of the ball, walking just 7 batters in 27.2 innings pitched and has been fairly economical, too. This Twins team is far superior to the Tigers and should take care of business.
