The Twins will be walking on eggshells from the get-go today with starting pitcher Jeffrey Springs Cole Sands (0-2, 8.49 ERA) instantly putting them in a perilous situation. Verlander is coming off 12 Ks in his last start against the Mariners and looks good to keep the good form rolling against the Marlins - a team that ranks in the bottom 10 of the league for team strikeouts. he's averaging close to 7 innings per start this year and with a low scoring game expected, we're betting on defense to win the day here.
