Mets vs. Braves, 7:20PM ET

A potentially pivotal series that could go some ways to deciding the NL East gets underway tonight with the reigning champion Braves looking to leapfrog the Mets in top position with a series win this week. Both teams are pulling out all of the stops for Game 1 with Max Fried (9-2, 2.52 ERA) taking the ball for the Braves, while the Mets are going with Max Scherzer (5-1, 2.26 ERA). Scherzer was in scary, scary form in his return from injury last week, giving up just 2 hits and no runs in 6 innings against the Reds. We can't see anything other than a low scoring contest here.
