Philly's lead over the Milwaukee Brewers for the final National League Wild Card spot has shrunk to only a half game. The Phils will send Ranger Suarez to the mound in the finale. The Left Hander is having a fine season as he is 10-5 with a 3.38 ERA and a 1.30 WHIP.

Ranger had a tough start to the season but has really turned it on in the second half. Post All-Star break, he is 3-0 in 11 starts, and has a 2.45 ERA and a 1.14 WHIP with an opponent batting average of .214.
